I was having lunch across the street when this store front caught my eye. There was piles of stuff outside, that I found out later was more discounted than the marked price. Inside is chalked full of stuff too! You really have to get on the floor or be willing to dig through the piles of stuff. It *appears* that this is a "for profit," thrift store that buys old stock & dead stock inventory + estates + buy/ sell stuff. So their prices are not rock bottom like a non profit thrift store that gets free inventory (donations). As a result, their prices are a little more mid range for a thrift store. But I don't expect rent in Morro Bay is cheap! I found 3 new without tags 90's tank tops, 1 70's vintage tee, 1 pair of vintage boots, & a toy truck for my kid and spent $20 total. That's still way less than retail! I didn't try to bargain, but I get the sense that the more you buy, the more they might be willing to entertain bargains. My only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars was because the mounds & piles are hazardous- it's a big Jenga pile - not in a good way. read more

I have been going to this thrift store for several years, having been told about it by a friend here in Fresno. Clinton has so much cool stuff and so much cheaper than any of the other thrift stores in the area. I have found so many very unique items at a ridiculous price. You do have to really look and search, which is half the fun. although he sometimes is not open at hours posted (due to some other duties), i just call or go by later. He gets new "stuff" all the time... which makes it even more fun. Do stop by and browse if you are in the area.. and be patient... finding great stuff takes patience. Like a prior review, the price is often discounted from the marked price.. !! AND...Like most thrift stores, Cash is required... and I don't blame thrift stores and others in today's scamming world.. I'd give it negative stars if I could. Talk about a drug addict shop. The guy who runs it is NEVER paying attention and present when you go in. Always on his phone. Stacked floor to ceiling but you can't find a damn thing worth buying. He was going around after the city wide sale giving out business cards to pick up left overs. We called and he wanted a list of what's there that's valuable and when we said no he got an attitude and said he wasn't going to pick it up.
