I honestly felt like a real perfume creator by the end of it! Ben was absolutely hilarious and kept us laughing throughout the experience. He was also incredibly knowledgeable and did a great job guiding us through the process without taking away from the fun of creating something that was uniquely ours. Ellen was also super friendly and welcoming, and the customer service from both of them was excellent. What surprised me most was how much I actually enjoyed the creative process. With Ben's help, we were able to experiment with different scents and somehow ended up creating fragrances that I genuinely LOVE. I'm still impressed that we made them ourselves! I would absolutely do this again and honestly wish there was a Tijon location in North Carolina. We spoke about common courtesy when it comes to work, and how it is in fact very rude to be a no call no show. Today, 2/3/2022, my shift was supposed to begin at 10. My phone didn't charge last night and I had overslept, which was a mistake on my part and I never let things like that happen, ever. I had woken up maybe 20 minutes after I was supposed to be there, and while I was rushing to get dressed and leave I noticed i had 2 missed calls from Georgette, so of course I immediately went to call her back when I noticed she left me a voicemail. A rude one, at that. She told me all in one message that I was not courteous, and how "she thought we had spoken about that." which wasn't the problem really until I noticed the attitude. I have never, ever had a manager speak to me that way without first asking if i'm okay, or anything. For all she knows I could've been in a wreck. That brings me to where she was speaking about a former employee, saying "he never showed or called, and i guess he just might be in jail." like wow, that's a bold assumption. I called her back and gave her the same attitude she gave me and told her to never call me again. I will never ever recommend someone who talks down about former employees or calls and talks shit to someone for making a mistake when she could've asked me if I was okay first.

She asked if I used the product I said no. She argued with me that it looked used. I assured her I didn't use the product as I accidentally bought the same thing. She says "well there's makeup on the box" I said well either way I was told I can return the product even if I used it. So why even argue with me about it, if it doesn't matter either way. She opened the box to see that it was obviously not used. I will not be returning to this location and drive the extra distance to go to the surfside location.
