Studio would likely meet my needs as a photographer. I quickly inquired about membership and within the week was welcomed into the CommU.nity. With a large open space and natural light, U. Studio perfect canvas to create. The space had everything I needed to start working in a new space, from seamless paper and stands to a sound system to set the vibe. While the hourly rental space rate is in line with the average around town, becoming a member lets you take advantage of a much better hourly rate. Booking the studio space was quick and easy through the website. I'll continue to book the space as long as I am in Atlanta!

The booking process was easy, and the team who runs it is very responsive. I'd use this venue again! The only things to note in terms of whether or not the venue will work for you are as follows: The "Sky box" room has a steep flight of stairs to access, no elevator. The bathroom is separated by a curtain, no wall, so ti is not soundproof. That was fine for us, as it was a busy party with lots of background noise so it was private enough.

We were only in the front of the venue but it seemed rather large. If you're familiar with five points you've probably seen the space before. There were a few vendors today and a DJ. There was also someone there to let us know about The Bakery and what it offers. If I'm not mistaken they also use a do-it-yourself approach and want to reach out in the community to build relationships within it. If you have an event The Bakery would be an interesting place to hold it. Lastly because of its location I would suggest getting the ParkMobile app to pay for parking which will cost less.

This is such a cool space that no one knows about. We showed up after being referred by a different…read moreart gallery and was not sure if we were in the right spot. We walked into a main gallery area and were greeted by a very nice lady who took the time to explain what the space was. It is a space where artists can rent studio space and collaborate, along with open up their own shops. The space size vary and some are along the outside, meaning they have windows, and some are in the interior with no windows. Some artists blocked their space so you could not see but others were open and you could see their works, some in mid-completion. We did the full loop and saw a few spaces that were available to lease. We also stopped in a few open shops where the artists were working and chatted with a few. All were super nice and we had a great time checking everything out.

Erica was wonderful! She was very professional, as well as flexible at setting up appointments to…read moremeet with us based on our busy schedules. Most importantly, she made us (two awkward, non-dancing engineers) feel right at home the second we met her. With only 5 lessons, she not only gave us the basic tools we will need to be able to enjoy ballroom dancing past our wedding, she gave us enough structure and enough "wow" moves to really feel confident in our first dance. We had a great time on our wedding day doing our first dance together and even got a standing ovation from our guests. We had a wonderful time working with Erica and are even considering signing up for more lessons just to continue the fun we had. Of note to other brides - it was a great way to take an hour out of the crazy wedding planning chaos and relax and enjoy with your significant other. Even my (now) husband says he had a great time learning from Erica and that it took quite a bit of stress off of his shoulders - he was originally more concerned about that first dance than the actual ceremony!
