Stacy, the owner, taught the class, and made me an artist! She is very knowledgeable and fun, which made things so much easier. You pick your container from their options when you first walk in (we picked one large container and then 3 small containers) and then you get either 3 small succulents or 1 large and 1 small succulents (which are more than enough to fit in your containers) they had a variety of colored moss, color rocks, and some cute little decor items (or bring your own). Bonus that it is a shared space with the library, I believe that's also temporary. But take a few steps and you can sit and read in the library for a while as well! It's almost like being in a classroom with 35 other people. Everyone has their own paint brushes, paint, easels, apron etc. which is all provided. The teacher/professional, aka artist of the night, sets up in the front of the room with a microphone and goes step by step on what colors to mix and what to paint on your canvas. Each session has its own unique picture to paint depending on the night you go. It is BYOB here and soooo much fun! You can bring snacks and wine and be merry! Such a great time for girls AND guys! I was having a casual morning walk with a friend who likes art so it was such an easy decision to make. As soon as we walked in we were wowed by the local art. I saw some coffee in the back and made my way to the coffee shop where I was greeted warmly by Krista who is awesome! I tried their Spring Fling latte iced which has lavender and vanilla with whip cream and the lavender flour on top. Some people don't like the lavender flour, but I love it! It actually feels calming because of the lavender in it. My friend and I had some great conversations with the barista and a regular and it felt like such an awesome community space. I will definitely be coming back here to both see the local art and have more coffee!

Our instructor was really kind and tried to make the session as light hearted and fun as he could. He even had a interactive paint session on the back of the canvas but ultimately resulted us in finishing about 15 minutes behind. Instructions weren't the clearest and I felt like the staff who was supposed to help in the background wasn't the most keen. But it was still a blast and I would do it again!

The friendliness of our host Janica and her patience as she gave each of us our own personal lessons on how to make our painting Amazing. I normally feel stressed when I go to sip and paints but that was not the case this time. I felt at ease with Janica and she really made me feel like I was doing a great job making my painting my own. She never rushed us as I was prob the last person of our group to finish. I would definitely recommend this over any paint studio I've been to over the years. Price doesn't matter when you feel this welcomed and catered to and the best part is picking a painting that you want to paint vs the other places where everyone is doing the same 1 or 2 options.
