Rowan Chase Studio occupies a corner store welcoming visitors to the area while showcasing some of the great artists in the area. While I believe the shop has changed ownership over time, the studio that is there stays true to its local roots highlighting beach and ocean pieces of art with a modern twist. When you walk in you are embraced by color and "warm" art. I love going in here just to peruse the store to see what they have in. The art they have is constantly changing reflecting the artists' changing styles. There are paintings, drawings, woodwork and glass all of which will provide a memory of your trip to Morro Bay. While we have purchased glass in the past, this time I went for some beautifully carved wood that will accentuate our PNW home. I was glad to hear they shipped because I don't have any room in my car! There are many galleries along this road and I just love these tributes to the creative minds in the area. RC studio is by far one of my favorites and perhaps if I had become a corporate lawyer, I may be able to make a purchase every time I entered the store!
