She asked for cash, but I thought my wallet in, so I payed via Apple Pay with my credit card. She made a little slick comment like she thought the card was going to bounce. "Cash is better". Ma'am...money is money, the form doesn't matter. Quiet as it's kept, I probably make more money than this woman. But since I'm a black woman in work out clothes, she probably assumed I didn't have anything. In a lot of these places, you walk in as a black person and the vibe completely changes when it's time to give us their service. I get that vibe a lot here in south florida (can't wait to move). I'm going back to the woman who usually does my eyebrows (my girl Sunitha, look her up, she's friendly, more affordable, and she's been doing my eyebrows for years. I always tip her very well because she's always been kind and she's never been disrespectful to me). I live further away from her, but today let me know that Raz Brow is on some bs, and I should just make the drive to Sunitha. The gas money is worth it. Do not go here, especially if you're a black woman who just needs her eyebrows to not look crazy when she goes into work... it gives racist vibes.
