Their pricing was similar to the competitors, but what set them apart was that they offered unlimited pier depth per section. Other companies had limits--for example, up to 20 feet, then an additional charge per foot after that. I'm glad I went with Groundworks because several of my piers ended up going 90 feet deep across 16 sections. With another company, that could have cost me significantly more. I also had their gutter guard system installed (similar to a French drain, though they claim it's better), along with a vapor barrier and mold treatment. I will say, if you have a serious mold issue, I'd recommend hiring a dedicated mold remediation company instead. I did have an issue with the mold spray, but after calling a couple of times, I was able to speak with a manager who surprisingly took my concerns seriously and resolved the issue. The salesman who came to my house, Randy S., was excellent--very thorough and knowledgeable. He always answered my calls and would text be back in a reasonable timeframe. One thing I didn't like was the same-day discount tactic. They present you with a price, then offer 10% off (or whatever discount they choose) if you sign that day. It puts pressure on you to make a major decision on the spot, which is difficult when you're spending over $50,000. There is a three-day cancellation window, but some people may see the discount as more of a sales tactic than a real benefit. I also want to mention the foreman on the job, Jose G. He was great--he answered all of my questions and even let me watch and learn a little while they were working. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience. Their warranty is transferable, which is a nice bonus, and hopefully I won't have any more issues going forward.

He has no idea about a good job is done and he sits on his phone, ignoring the short cuts his workers do on the job. I hire him to retile my bathrooms and asked specifically not to make too many cuts and wide spaces between the tiles. He cut the tiles without measuring and I had to order another box of tiles to finish the job. In short, they cut the tiles chaotically. They install the new toilets without the bolts. There was only a piece of plastic holing the toilet. when I asked them to correct their job, he yells at me and raised his voice to intimidate me with his bad vocabulary. towards the end, he wanted to leave before he finishes while accusing me that I never told him about certain things I wanted. This man and his work should not continue, he is unable to perform what he promises and has no idea about construction, nor remodeling. I will never hire him again and would strongly Not recommend him. Also, they are not clean at all. He forgot to close the valve properly and water went into the wall and was dripping into the kitchen from the bathroom above. I wish I read the reviews before I hired him. I agree with every one who gave their reviews and opinions about Soriano's business. Terrible, Terrible, Terrible!

I hired Soriano and his Sorovi Remodeling Contracting for a kitchen remodel. Below are the highlights of Soriano's performance: Removal of the old kitchen: Soriano forgot to close the holes he made in the kitchen floor, so that the entire basement located underneath the kitchen was covered with dust. He did not even alert me that I needed to cover everything in the basement. Electricity: despite assuring me that he is experienced electrician, Soriano and his crew committed numerous code violations including the wrong number of dedicated lines, no IC recessed lighting housing, bare wires in the outlets, wires in the AC duct. Soriano specifically assured me that the code allows to put wires in AC ducts. Moreover, the wire was run in a very inefficient path around the house and most of the holes he did were not needed at all. All the above violations and problems were later on confirmed by three independent professional electricians. Flooring: Soriano's crew did a terrible job tiling the kitchen floor. Not only few tiles in the most visible places placed uneven and sticking up, but a new contractor later found that the entire kitchen floor had sloped from one end to the other creating many problems for cabinets and appliances installation.

As a result, I had to deal with penalties and violations from the township that cost me more time and money. Gary took months to perform a job because he put me on the back burner in favor of getting new work from other potential customers as opposed to finishing the job he had with me. A three week job took eight months, contrary to his promise, and his excuse is that he has to prioritize trying to rope in more customers over taking care of the ones he has. Unlike performing the work and getting the job done, when it comes to the payment amount and schedule, Gary is always on time, even coming to your house late at night and on weekends to insist on cash, and calling and texting you incessantly. The guys Gary uses for labor are the same guys you can find yourself looking for an honest day's pay, and on top of all that, Gary verbally abuses and berates them. What is the point of hiring Gary when you can just pick up those guys, treat them well, pay them the same or a little more than what Gary does, and get your job done quickly all while saving the premium Gary charges for himself? Terrible. Never again.

Our driveway was 6 inches lower than our garage and the walkway wasn't lined up to the driveway or patio. After a few outrageously expensive estimates from several companies and a few aggressive sales pitches I came across Concrete Chiropractor. The estimation process was simple as they asked me to take pictures and included a guide on how to do it. They followed up with a phone call and explained the process to me. They then sent me a DocuSign document (contract) and told me they would be in touch to schedule in a few weeks. When the crew showed up they again explained the process and in just a few hours everything was fixed perfectly and the price was fair. In fact they don't haggle or play games just give a fair price for the work.
