But I don't find it lacking in equipment or facilities with way more things that I even want to use. I have read more than one review saying the staff is curt and unfriendly but they have all always been gracious to me. I'm always greeted with a welcome, have a good work out and exit with a Have a good rest of your day. I'm pushing 70 years old and even the youngest staff members are always friendly towards me. I toured a few of the other health club/gyms when I first moved to the area but In-Shape fit my needs best. I overheard in conversation among other club members they are expanding the facility. I never think to ask the staff so not sure what is going on there. Would be nice if they added a mini-basketball court.

In my experience, the shower areas were consistently unkempt, featuring a dark buildup on the mats near the showers that gave the impression of total neglect, along with small black gnats present on the shower walls. The sauna was similarly disappointing; on the few occasions I used it, I noticed the exact same dirt in the exact same locations, indicating a severe lack of regular cleaning. Furthermore, a broken piece of wood inside the sauna presented a clear safety hazard. Locker room safety was another major concern, as participants from aqua classes flooded in completely soaking wet and left the floors drenched, making it impossible to walk safely in socks or step out of the shower with flip-flops. When I brought this severe slipping hazard to management, I was told I was exaggerating. I sincerely worry someone is going to get seriously hurt one day. When I raised my facility concerns with the front desk and asked to speak with a manager, it took several minutes for one to become available. I received no meaningful assurance that these maintenance issues would be addressed; instead, I was dismissed as overreacting and treated like a nuisance. My experience with staff integrity was equally troubling. I briefly left my car keys on a locker room bench while using the restroom. When I returned to the bench in front of my locker, I realized they were not there. I walked out of the locker room and looked across the floor to the front desk; even though I was far away, I saw another member handing them to the front desk; i recognized they were my keys because they had a distinctive red-leather handle. When I inquired, the first employee claimed she had been there all morning and that no keys had been turned in! Moments later, a second staff member opened a drawer and handed my keys to me. This dishonest response speaks volumes about the front desk staff. Clean facilities, safe equipment, and straightforward customer service are basic expectations for any fitness center. While having a gym just one minute from my home was convenient, it couldn't make up for falling short of these baseline standards. After deciding to terminate my membership, I visited three other local gyms over a 10-day period--out of at least five or six options nearby--and every single one was superior on all counts. I have since transitioned to one of those facilities and officially canceled my membership with In-Shape. Note regarding management follow-up: To any automated or standard management replies suggesting I contact them privately: I have completely moved on and will not be discussing these issues further with anyone from In-Shape. The time to listen to my concerns seriously is over and finished.

Her name was Gianni and she did an excellent job. She asked about any health issues and what pressure I preferred. I asked for a firm massage. It was the BEST massage I've ever gotten from a student. I would recommend Gianni for anyone who wants a relaxing massage. The school charges $30 for hour and $40 for hour and half. Can't beat the price. I will definitely be coming back again and telling my friends as well!!!

It seems like they were particularly suited to working with clay, jewelry, and fiber arts. Two of the rooms were large empty spaces. Our workshop of 20 people comfortably fit in one room while the second room served as a place for us to have breakfast and lunch. The natural light helped me "see" my work and kept me from getting fatigued throughout the day. What makes these spaces special are the care the owners have taken to decorate the walls with murals and with ceramic sculptures by students of all ages. The owners are charming hosts and very creative. RECOMMEND

His calm demeanor and gentle approach created such a safe space for her to learn, and I always felt reassured knowing she was in the best hands. Even on the tough days, David remained gracious and encouraging -- never rushing her progress, but guiding her with consistency and care. I know for a fact that the administrator I'm referring to actually had someone else take the test for her credentials , which She attempted 3 times to pass on her own and couldn't. I wish I could prove it . It's true though if you want harsh unfair unprofessional treatment this is the place for you.
