Francesca's Collections is a chain of women's clothing and accessory store founded in 1999 by three siblings, Chong Yi, Kyong Gill, Insuk Koo, and their friend, John De Meritt. They opened their first store in Houston Texas and went on to open more stores. In 2016 the company saw a decline in business due to financial factors. By 2020 they had closed stores and entered bankruptcy but in 2021 they launched a comeback and were able to reopen some of the closed stores as well as launch a new concept for teens called Franki's. They are currently operating more than 400 stores throughout the United States. I was wandering around the Promenade and discovered Francesca's near the Cheesecake Factory. Their window display caught my eye and beckoned me in to check them out. I was pleasantly greeted when I entered and left to explore. The clothes are trendy with sequins, lace, and studs. A black ball gown dress caught my eye and it was $150. They have a display up front with the kind of glittery and shiny clothes people favor for holiday parties and New Years Eve. Moving toward the back of the store were more every day clothes but still very on trend. There were a lot of 50 percent off sales and even a $9.99 rack of clothing. Fitting rooms are in the back of the store so you can try on clothes. The clothes were more things my daughter would wear but I liked their inexpensive collection of costume jewelry. They also have a lot of cute gift items including things for brides to be and dog lovers. Based on the amount of people shopping in the store, their comeback has been successful. read more

We visited this store while on vacation. The sales associate was nice and helpful. I purchased 2 items. Took them home and the next day decided I didn't like the fit of one of them. Went back to the store, same associate was there, handed her the item along with my receipt. She stated she needed my driver license in order to process the transaction. I questioned this and she said that's their policy OR I could open up an account and I wouldn't need to present my credit card. I gave her my driver license and she entered my information into the register. I left extremely disturbed by this practice. I reported this to the Francesca corporation and they stated this was not their practice. Please beware of this scam. read more

I didn't buy anything this time, but that's only because I didn't have enough time to try on anything. This store is so cute, I really can't imagine anyone not liking this store. They sell clothes, purses, knick knacks and a lot of jewelry. This is a fun store to shop in if you are buying something for yourself or a gift for someone else. Nice selection of scarves too. I loved the display of assorted Friends (TV) merchandise they have. Really cute mugs and glasses that have quotes and the characters names on it. I probably will be going back to grab some of these items before they sell out. Friends has always been a favorite show of mine and these novelty items are super cool. I guarantee if you come here you will find something you like. I highly recommend this store for the perfect present for you or someone else. read more

Went to the Coconut Creek Promenade and decided to pop by Francesca's to see if they had any options for my best friends baby shower which was the following day. I was happy to see that they have added extended sizes. It has been a while since I shop there because they typically range up to size 8-10. The store was very clean and organized. I immediately found items that I liked and the associate (whose name I didn't catch) was kind enough to prepare a fitting room for me. I ended up purchasing a dress for $60 and was pleasantly surprised when it rang up as $40 because of the store wide sale and a perfect matching pair of earrings. read more

I love this store! I'll go to any location but I'll drive a bit for this one specifically. When you first walk in you are immediately greeted with a smile. The people working here are always kind and ready to help. Step one: pull pretty much everything off the rack and try it on. The clothes are all organized in color groups and the groupings are perfect. Also, there are a ton of options in each color. Right now I am looking for some white dresses from some bridal events and this place has what feels like hundreds of styles. Also, as I shop the super helpful employees take the clothes to the dressing room so I can have full use of my hands for exploring! Step two: hit the dressing room and find all the great accessories that the employees put on the outfits I picked out. Step three: get excited because there are always sales and you can find a great outfit for a great price. Step four: explore all the knick knacks on the tables. There are a lot of bridal things or mother/daughter gifts. The things on those tables are always rotating on and off so there are always new things to check out! I always check out this store because they have really cute jewelry and clothing for a good price. To me his place is similar to a Forever 21 in that it carriers trendy clothes and jewelry but it is setup boutique style. I can usually find cute clothes and the prices range from about $20-$100 depending on the items. They carry everything from phone cases, shoes, jewelry, handbags, tops, bottoms and dresses. A great little boutique. I took my teenage daughter in one day a couple of years ago. I was hoping to offer her something different from Hollister, which comprised much of her wardrobe at the time. It was her first experience with a boutique style shop and she loved it. It's still one of the first places she wants to check when we go shopping.
