I knew so many people that lived for the thrift/consignment shops in college - but a few have ... gotten fluffy. This was a pretty big deal to see a place catering to size 14 and bigger. I walked in and both of the owners were hard at work. One was looking over inventory and making account of who to call back. Another was calling patrons that signed up on some call list to be notified about sales. That pretty much told me the age of most clientele. I love the written word over everything. But small business charm, they get to know their patrons more closely. Several repeat customers. The inventory was okay. Just ok. Best areas seemed to be the formal dresses. I have nothing planned that needs a dress but I couldn't help myself from pulling out several things that caught my eye. The organization was great. Everything clearly laid out and priced. Prices seemed high for a few items. All but one item I reached for were $75+ but I wasn't paying attention to name brand tags - so maybe it's justified? Not bad.

They are spacious I have tried a few things myself. That's another thing you have to watch out for fit, these clothes are designed to be closed wear and sexy. It is not always compatible to ready-to-wear items so if you are a size 6 don't just assume as size 6 pair of shorts will fit you, you have to try them on. Like I said the store can get pretty messy. I don't believe you can return things only exchange them for a certain period of time. Sales persons are not very friendly either they are always in a rush and very brusque, but that is the small price you have to pay to get cheap clothes, so pick your battles where you can win them

Nobody was standing by the fitting rooms so I went in and tried clothes on without speaking to any staff. There was a rack outside the fitting rooms that said to not put clothes on there, but there was no staff member to give any clothes that you didn't like to. When I asked someone a question, I felt like they were annoyed by me. Maybe it was because it was close to closing time, but I definitely didn't feel welcome.

The wife still…read moreneeded a gown for an upcoming event and this was a Boca Raton hot spot to browse hoping for that "Perfect Fit", which for my wife as a self-proclaimed perfectionist, this has claimed to be a difficult task. To locate private parking directly in front of the business within Mizner Park was a rare find. At first glance, the modern exterior was inviting and the showroom was clean and well organized with a plethora of multi faceted attire. The open floor plan had several brightly lit white crystal chandaliers hovering above the center of the room allowing the various colors of the gowns to pop and the sequins sparkle. The modern industrial decor continued throughout, boasting a stunning black metal spiral staircase leading up to the second level to the admin offices. A matching black metal railing overlooked the open showroom providing a visual effect of even a more spacious area. Immediately, we were greeted by the super personable assistant named Debbie, who asked a few painless questions and went to work locating some gowns that may be a suitable fit to the wife's intense agenda. The first batch of sample gowns from Sherry Hill and Jovani were an excellent match for the wife's liking and even though she looked riveting, they were slightly too snug. The pricing were very competitive and a few gowns were half price. We will continue to check in here for updated inventory during the next few months.
