A-OK. This place is not spectacular, but also not terrible. I have been here several times because it is close to where I live and I can go in for lunch and be out in 30 minutes. I think the buffet is just ok. I am not much of a buffet person to begin with because I always wonder how long the food has been sitting. I would only give the lunch buffet a 2/5, but like I said it is fast. The calzone that I have ordered twice now is very good. You can get a small or large depending on how much you want to eat, but honestly I usually get the small and box a slice up to eat later. If you are in the area and want some fast food with good service it is a great place to eat. If you are looking for good Italian food I suggest flying to Italy. read more

This restaurant is out of business. Used to be an excellent restaurant but has been going downhill over the past several years.

I live in walking distance so we decided to carry-out our order. Both the person taking my order and the person checking us out were polite and efficient. This was my first time eating at Francesco's and I had a hard time choosing what to get as their menu is huge! The prices were very reasonable for the portion size and each meal came with a salad and garlic bread (which was super delicious). We ended up getting the Shrimp Scampi pasta, The Tortellini, and a 12" veggie lovers pizza. The scampi was underwhelming, and not especially tasty. The sauce didn't stick to the noodles and the shrimp were left just sitting on top so they didn't incorporate well into the dish. The pizza was good but not great and the crust was a little too soft. We liked the tortellini the best; it had a wonderful flavor and was super satisfying. I'd like to try this place again since they have such a large selection, I think I won't really be able to judge the place until I've tried some other dishes. read more

I came to Francesco's this Saturday with my family to get some pizza and appreciate a smaller restaurant in the area. The Service was absolutely HORRIBLE!!! Our waitress was completely inattentive. We had to ask for a high chair twice before getting any response. We sat in the restaurant for an hour and not once did we get our drinks refilled. We ordered french fries for appetizers which did not come until our pizzas came out (we would not have ordered the fries if we knew they'd take so long). I had to go to the counter to ask for our check and a pizza box. 10 minutes later I had to go to the counter AGAIN and ask once more before finally getting the check and a box to take our left-overs. Long story short. The food was great, however the service was so poor that my family and I will not return. read more

For the most part the food at Francesco's is good. But, there is a lack of consistency.

Called for delivery, but was informed they didn't have anyone to drive. Fine, I ordered it for pick up. Ordered a large pizza with four ingredients, when I got it home two of the ingredients were missing, despite being charged for them. When I was picking up, there was one container short. Fries were missing, woman at the register tried to convince me they were in with the calamari. The cook came up and said they weren't with the calamari and the woman thentried to convince bot me and the cook the fries were in with the wings. He said no, they don't combine the orders like that. He started a fresh order. Then walked over to the counter and said "oh, here they are." I said thanks, but I'd wait for the fresh fries. Got home to eat and the stromboli was burnt. The calamari was soooo dry. The fries were good. The pizza was missing two ingredients, but otherwise tasted okay. And the wings were okay. The only place I wouldn't recommend over Francesco's is Pizza Hut. I can't see any return trips in my future. Save yourself the heartache and go ANYWHERE else (except Pizza Hut). But if you do ignore my previous advice and order from here, by all means, check each and every part of your order before you leave. Open every container, bag, box, etc. to make sure everything is right. They charge for a product and a service, make sure you get what you pay for. read more

Don't even bother wasting your money the food is horrible there. I ordered chicken Alfredo with broccoli and took two bits and threw the rest in the trash I was so pissed. It tasted like pasta out of a can with absolutely no flavor what so ever. read more

Here goes. I have been a steady customer for at least 10 years and my favorite thing has always been the Calzone, which I do ask that they use pepperoni instead of the typical ham. There has NEVER been a problem with that I was there on Monday evening of November 26 and ordered just that. What I received looked beautiful, it had pepperoni instead of ham, but there was no Ricotta (that is what makes it a Calzone & NOT a Stromboli!!! When I asked why the waitress asked the cook and I was told that because what I ordered was not on the menu (it's not with Pepperoni) he didn't put Ricotta on it and that's how it's done at the Bridgewater restaurant. Apparently he is a cook that used to work at that particular restaurant. So I did not eat it, I did not pay for it, and they did not apologize of offer to make it the way I wanted it. Ordered take out and got home to discover they didn't get the order all there. Pizza was not very good and was almost burnt, steak calzone was plain other than the cheese and the second calzone that we had to return to get had tomato sauce in it, neither of which were very good...and the cost was outrageous to boot! We ordered carry out pizza from this place as it was close to where we were staying with my mother in law. Whoever answered the phone was polite repeated the order back and the pizza was delicious! I ordered garlic on it and was shocked it was fresh sliced garlic! Would order again next visit up!!! read more

I was really impressed with my steak and cheese calzone. The small was huge! Great value for the money. The bread is really good too, nice and smothered in parmesan. My husband did not like the chicken on his pasta- it was just boiled chicken, pretty mediocre. So were the mozzarella sticks and the starter salads, but the raspberry vinaigrette was delicious. Service was okay. Overall a "meh" experience, but we will probably be back. read more

Waited 45 minutes for a mediocre stromboli. Our food wasn't ready until we started to walk out. Overheard our waitress ask when our order would be ready and the cook replied "it'll be ready when it's ready" this after we had been there nearly 30 minutes, and 15 minutes after we were told that your order will be ready in just a minute. Great food great prices!! I've been going there for years, and I have never had a bad meal yet. Just the opposite. It's always good! Try the chicken rollatini or maybe the mediterranean or Greek pizza--delicious! And they just changed their menu a little, so I forget what this new dish is called, but it blew me away: chicken, proscuitto, capers, artichokes, mushrooms, bowtie pasta in a light lemony wine sauce!!! Are you kidding me?! And you get a salad and some nice homemade bread with that. And you probably would not believe the prices. For the quality of the food, the delicious flavors, and the prices, you really cannot beat Francesco's. So forget about it! read more

Ordered takeout items. Drove 15 minutes to return home to eat. Got call from someone at restaurant that salads and bread were left out. My choices were to return or come back next day to pick up. Representative said that I needed to do one or the other soon. Didn't offer a credit on charge despite my request for a $2-4 credit. Found his response unacceptable and told him as such. Said he was busy and I was taking up his time. Food was average. They have no understanding of customer service. read more

I've eaten here twice. Pizza was good but not memorable. Not rich with flavor like I expect from the local homemade places. The lasagna was quite good. Good flavor, great cheese. All in all a good place for school night Italian carry out. read more

I got the buffet for $6.95 and it was so underwhelming. The pizza was cold when I got there and they're weren't many options. The pizza crust was tasteless and was as usual for most places greasy. I mean it was so greasy I could've swam in it.The grailc bread had a "cheesy" taste it was too overwhelming. I was only satisfied with my drink. I had to go up to get more napkins my waitress didn't serve me much. I don't recommend this places in any circumstances. read more
