I've been sitting on this for a week wondering if it was even worth posting a review however I do feel the need to express my concerns. I ordered from the restaurant on April 8th and had an estimated delivery time for 6:51pm when my order still hadn't been delivered I called the restaurant at 7:42pm and was ensured my order was on the way and would be delivered in the next few minutes so I waited...until 8:22pm and at the point I called the app that I had ordered the food on (had I not been very sick I would have went to the restaurant myself to see what was going on) beyond menu was beyond helpful and called the restaurant and it was then that it was discovered that the internet had went down so they had lost my order...the same order that I was promised was on the way. The restaurant then called me back at 8:40 and asked me if I still wanted my food after telling them yes they told me they would prepare it immediately and it would be delivered within 15-20 minutes and it was, however it was delivered incorrect and incomplete. I had ordered two spaghetti with meat sauce and meatballs on the side and a side salad with each for my two children who were long in bed by this point, I was delivered one spaghetti with the sauce on it and the meatballs on the side. This is when I called the restaurant back at 9:01 I was offered 15% off and told they would remake my food and send it back. Again this time it did come within the timeframe they promised but again it was only one order even though my first order wasn't made correctly. At that point I had waiting 3 hours and paid $37 for food that was incorrect and incomplete my whole experience was very disappointing and has personally put me off of the restaurant, I typically had ordered from here at least once a month but don't know if I will be ordering again because of the way my situation was handled. I do understand things happen in the restaurant industry however I feel like this went above and beyond what should be acceptable. read more

I may have got my last order from here as they messed it up, turned down an opportunity to serve me a beer, and when I called to complain; stated you paid for what you got even though it's not what I wanted. From NY, visiting family this weekend. We just wanted a slice of pizza. Usually you go to a pizza place and choose from the pies they have already cooked. But here, they personalize your slice starting with a slice of cheese. You choose your toppings, they throw on more cheese and toss it in the oven. Our slices were delivered to our table. The gentleman who took our order and delivered our food was Dallas. What a sweet guy he was! My husband got 2 slices of sausage and mushroom. I got a slice with hamburg, peppers and onions. So good! A decent place to get food. I had a meat lovers pizza and it was mediocre. The crust was chewy for NY style crust. Toppings were plentiful but not high quality. Also ordered at our table was a hamburger and Italian sausage sub. The hamburger was large and decent quality beef. The Italian sausage sub was good. The sausage was cut into chunks rather than served as a whole sausage. The service was very friendly and good throughout our visit. Will try other local pizza places before returning. read more

When I ordered dinner, the man on the phone said the delivery would be in an hour. The food arrived 90 minutes later and was cold. On top of that the bread sticks we requested with light cheese were covered in thick cheese. Consequently, my son wouldn't eat them and I had to throw them away. I can't tolerate any grains, which I explained when I ordered my salad. Consequently, it was frustrating to have to pick off the croutons they included in the salad. Our neighbor recommended this as their current go to place for great Italian food that delivers to our neighborhood. Great neighbor, great recommendation! We live on the edge of Staunton and tried the Staunton location for lunch today. As per usual, we started with fried calamari. The calamari was tender with a light batter and great homemade marinara. The greeter and our server were great. Very friendly and attentive. Our remembered the usual orders of other patrons that entered after us. My girlfriend ordered the house special Pizza with ham, sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms and olives. Pizza was thin and very tasty. I had the spaghetti with meat sauce. The spaghetti was cooked perfect with a very meaty sauce. It came with a great salad and delicious, warm garlic rolls. The portions were huge the taste great and the prices reasonable. We highly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely be back and plan to try the take out next time... read more

This is being generous. Pepperoni Pizza with scant amount of pepperonis delivered late cold and tasted like someone spilled salt in the sauce. When i placed this order on the phone the person taking our order got our address wrong. They said that they tried to call us. A text announcing who they were would have been better than random numbers. When they did finally get through, they said the delivery person was just around the corner. 2 minutes away. Waited 10 minutes called back they said 5 minutes. Took an additional 17 minutes. So by that time the pizza was cold. Meanwhile the person answering the phone had her mouth full and blamed me for writing down the wrong address. Small teaching moments for your staff. Delivery please text if you do not get an answer especially if your phone number is different than the one called to order the pizza. There are just so many junk calls and people do try to avoid them. Remember its up to you to communicate with your client. No one likes cold food. Cooks Taste your food before putting an order together. If the sauce is bad you can't fix it with extreme amounts of salt. Start over. Order intake Clear up you diction. Don't answer with your mouth full ever. The Customer is ALWAYS right. Client. Thats me If someone answering your inquiries about a pizza order does not know or sound like they know what their specialty pizzas are or what's on them. Hang up. TL;DR First time we ate there was amazing. Second time was a let down. Inconsistent quality. Edit: ate there again and the quality was way different. It was almost like we ate a completely new place. Same order, different taste. My Alfredo wasn't as flavorful and was a smaller portion. No, it wasn't lunch time or a lunch portion. My husband picked up our food and I had to make a second trip there because they forgot something. The cheese that was melted on the breadsticks had hardened by this time, but we had already made two trips and neither of us wanted to go back. Not sure if we'll eat there again. This is definitely going to be our new favorite pizza place. My husband had the calzone and it had plenty of stuffings, he really enjoyed it. I had the fettuccine alfredo with chicken and broccoli. Great subs and the Ripieno Stromboli is excellent, lots of filling with a crisp tasty crust and a side of marinara. They have a good cheesesteak and tuna sub is good, no pickle relish in it. The service is always friendly and the owner really cares. I get something there almost every week and everything has been good. The chef salad is good and big and comes with a nice freshly baked roll. Delivery can be a little slow, but with covid 19 everything is. I live close by so I just pick it up on my way home. Horrible delivery time wait of 30 mins more than the order confirmation said. When we called to check on order status, the person answering phone was rude and hung up. When we called back the person then said that the order was delayed because they sent the driver to another delivery that was 30 mins away before bringing our delivery that was less than 10 minutes away. When explaining my frustration on the call, the person had horrible customer service and offered for me to wait another 30-45 mins for my order to be replaced or I could pick it up without the delivery fee being reimbursed. Came in a few months ago for some pizza. Sat down with my friend who pointed out what we believe to be the owners son walking around butt naked. Not a fan to be sure. Pizza was good though. My boyfriend and I tried this place out for the first time yesterday. And to say the least we were very disappointed. We ordered the bruschetta for the appetizer, both me and my boyfriend agreed that it was very bland. It also came with a marinara sauce(not sure why) which was absolutely disgusting. When we finally got what we ordered about a hour later we were disappointed with the pizza we got. I got the buffalo chicken pizza which wasn't spicy at all, bland, and loaded with grease. My boyfriend got the meat pizza which he did not like cause there was to much toppings on the crust so whenever he picked up a piece everything would fall off.
