What I appreciated most was how he didn't pressure me to buy the ring's center stone from them when I told him I had found a wholesale gemstone broker elsewhere, whom I was planning on buying from. Knudson's certainly doesn't have the largest inventory, so if you're looking for that, you will be disappointed. But they have all the staples, and a lovely and ever-changing assortment of estate pieces which is always fun to browse. When my sister picked them up and they were delivered to me in Indiana, they did not look complete. The place were the rings had been sized was not smooth. It looked bumpy, certainly not professional. The rings were returned for the job to be corrected. George was not there to see them - my fault for not taking pictures. The woman started buffing them, before I could call and tell her I only wanted George to work on the rings. When I finally talked to George and he saw the rings, he doubted that the job was not done correctly! Why in the world would I leave rings behind in another state for no reason? What could I have possibly gained from asking them to be "fixed" if there was nothing wrong? So they worked on my rings and I am told they now look great. Here's the kicker . . . they want me to pay to have them shipped, even though I wouldn't need to have them shipped if the job had been done correctly in the first place. George told me, "he went out of his way to make me happy." By fixing his employees shoddy work? Just lost a customer (and probably most of my family) over $25 in shipping.

Has done work on watches and changed batteries in the past for me but I'm not going to be made to feel like an intrusion or that he's somehow doing me a favor with gracing me with his skill to change a watch battery or fix a watch. Didn't have a scene or blow up but I will never go back there again, nor would I recommend it. He definitely knows what he is doing and does quality work....just not worth the hassle of his personality...John Tsangos jeweler does the same types of work on watches....TSANGOS super friendly....
