I love Bird Park. Bird Park is (by far), my favorite park.... And ironically it's only 10 minutes from my house! Amazing park sitting in a huge area in East Walpole straddling along hilly Washington Street, Polley Ln, Pleasant Street, and Rhoades Avenue. Always a guaranteed spot for a good walk. Pets are allowed and never trash around. Lots of "whatever", hills, tree lined trails, woodsy trails, and bright, open areas. They additionally have 2 small lake areas and a stream running through the park. Definitely a place to stop in the area! Parking: There are 3 parking lots. 1. Polley Ln lot -- Right on Polley Ln, near the Old Post 4-Way Stop. 2. Cramped Pleasant St Lot -- For Kids Structures -- On Pleasant Street near the fork with Moose Hill Rd 3. Rhoades Ave Lot -- Directly next to Church, and is also cramped at some points throughout the day

I love this park! I am always trying to find great parks to walk my dog and this park is great! This park has beautiful scenery for perfect photo opportunities. It also has lengthy paths all around the park so each time you can pick a new adventure.

Lots of bridges to cross at this park. Great space to let the kids explore.

This hidden gem was sitting across from us as we had dinner. We decided to see what kind of park this was and was immediately impressed with the size and walking paths. The playground has something for kids of all ages. The older kids might want to bring a soccer ball to kick around the open field, a basketball for the courts or a football to toss. There are picnic tables and various places to sit and relax. Can't wait to bring the family again.

Playground is closed as of 10/25/2023. All the old fixtures for little kids are gone and there is a playscape with orange fencing around it.

The premises are kept very clean, which is a plus because most of the other places we've been to, are questionable. I do agree with the other review, there girls there are always congregating at the front desk and can be quite standoffish but I think it has more to do with their age, and this probably being their first job. It's not a dealbreaker for me. It's a great place to go to, the kids are kept inside with baby gates, there are plenty of things to do there and it's good for a few hours of play. It's only about $20 for one child, which is better than most of the other play places we've been to. I give four stars. It would have been five, if the employees were more friendly.

I also really appreciated the dedicated area for children under 2 years old. It was a nice, safe space for little ones to explore. My only complaint is the pricing. They advertise admission as $16.99 per child, but then charge an additional mandatory $2 fee for one accompanying adult. Since young children can't attend without an adult, the actual minimum price is really $18.99 per child. I don't mind paying that amount once, but I do think the advertised price should reflect the true cost or clearly state that one required adult is an additional fee. It felt a little misleading. Most indoor play areas include 1 adult in the child's price. Overall, it's a wonderful play space, but I hope they make their pricing more transparent.

This time of year before it gets REAL chilly in the northeast is the best time to go. You can easily take the rail out here from the city. I loved frolicking in the fall foliage and taking tons of pics! If you enjoy running and or just going for a stroll you will enjoy this area as well. There are some elevation changes more in the downtown square and just so much to look at! Sweet running store in the area that does social runs! Incredible food and coffee too. What more could you ask for? Pretty houses here as well and it is an affluent part of New England so just fun to browse and see the sights. This area was a pleasant surprise and (the Texan in me) can't wait to visit during warm weather!
