Our gutters were falling off our house and anytime it rained, no matter how little, our basement…read morewould get water. We called Mater Roofers and they were there the next day to inspect them and give us a quote. Our house has had a few additions so it has really weird gutters and a lot of downspouts. It is also surrounded my pine trees so getting gutter guards was an absolute must as well. They gave us a quote and it was very reasonable for the amount we would need replaced and the labor to do it. It did take them three weeks to get all the material and schedule the install. They showed up with 5 guys and had all the gutter taken off and replaced with full gutter guards in 5 hours. It was very impressive. They had someone come out a few days later to do the final inspection. We also waited until it rained to let them know if everything was working properly. Since we've had them replaced, we have not had any water in our basement. The only thing we didn't love is they were not very careful during the install. They completely trampled our flower beds. I would understand if a few were to get stepped on, but yearly every flower was smashed and killed. They also left a nail from the old gutters on our driveway. I'm sure this was just something they overlooked, but if we didn't see that it could have caused some real damage.

Quality Exterior's price with the tear off, was lower than other quotes- without the price of the tear off. They were here for about 3 weeks- and did all the roofs. The craftsmanship was outstanding. They also replaced a concrete slab porch, and did a remodel of an outside porch that had been closed in a long time ago for me. Everything they did- was absolutely top notch, with fantastic attention to detail. I've got a much larger project coming up - a total house rebuild- and they will be doing that.

Porch canceled, because once I saw the cobbled mess, called barn doors, I knew they could not handle the job. Barn, not garage. There was no garage. No where does it state white gutters. U may have written that down somewhere, but I tried to talk to u twice and all you did was get mad, roll your eyes and walk away. Nita had black. You only covered the facia after I called you on it. One section still needs done. How dare I say," why didn't you do this, or why didn't you do that?" I shouldn't have to.! Your crew has no supervision; they just do what they want because u r never around. Whink Whink. But since they work so cheap for you, you really don't care what they do, or don't do. You never finished the job ! Of course you are not going to get the final 2900.00 dollars. Then hold the warranty hostage. Final payment not due until the job is finished.

The roofers did a thorough job and went through our landscaping with a magnetic broom to pick up any errant nails. This year we needed a downspout rehung and leaves blown out of the gutters. I figured I'd call the roofing experts and let them also recaulk anywhere the caulk from 8 years ago might have pulled away over time. We want to keep things water-tight up there, especially when snow and ice melt can creep in anywhere gravity will take it. So Dave came out and talked to me about it. He got up on the roof to take pictures of the problem areas. He let me look at those pictures and would share them with the worker who would come out to do the tasks/repairs. I would definitely call on Dave at Northstar again. He's local, he's thorough, and he's concerned with my happiness in the end. He's a very personable guy, too.

When inquiring about a new roof with the insurance company they only wanted to replace 38 shingles and not the entire roof, so after three months of going back and forth Four paws stepped in and took over all contact with the insurance company and within a few months weather permitting we had a entire roof replaced! If it weren't for Four Paws we'd still be fighting the insurance company, thanks to their experience and knowledge we were able to get a beautiful new roof.
