The labor and materials were warranted for one year and he refused to fix our pool that had wrinkles all over the liner opened in April 2020 (less than one year). On top of the wrinkles the concrete he pourded has 2 long significant cracks. We gave him an opportunity to abide by the contract and he had his wife call us to tell us they would not be doing anything to fix the pool damage or even come out to asses the issue even though it has been less then one yea, they never had the intention to honor the warrantly. Todd often had a bad temper and lied throughtout the entire process. Him and his wife do not write in the contracts the warranty, I told Todd I wanted it in writting and he had me write it in and he signed below. We are now in contact with our lawyer to sue him for failure to comply and honor the warranty. We have spoken to a professional pool service and they examined the pool and agree it was due to improper installation. All they say when you request service is we are good people, we do good work we don't need to honor our warranty. Amy (his wife) said because we didn't have him close our pool the warranty was voided. Our contract does not say any where we had to have him close our pool, furthermore we did not have him close the pool because of all the lies and temper issue he had through the construction process. Last week I went to a client to check out a small job he wanted done. While there, he started talking about the deck job that I had done for him 2 years prior. I was stunned that the deck looked as good as the day we finished it. When I expressed that, he too started to tell me about a friends deck that had started to fade in color in such a short period of time. I started to remember how easy this material was to route as well as minimal burrs from the screws. In short this is a great product. I was doubly pleased that the client loved it and there were no complaints about heat transfer like I got from another regarding Trex. Well done Timber Tech.
