When the time comes to replace your home's roof you have a lot of questions that you don't know the…read moreanswers to. I saw a Klaus crew working in my neighborhood so I reached out to the Project Manager who then contacted the company's Inspector, Josh. When Josh came to inspection our roof and to provide an estimate of what our 40 year old home needed, the report was very detailed about what we needed to have done. The inspection revealed some small problems which we will be addressing with the replacement work but we had NO idea the problems existed! Josh make a thorough inspection of not only the roof but the attic area above the house and garage. (This was not a drive by inspection). The Estimate provided by Josh was very detailed and itemized for the Roof and Gutter work our home needed. Everything was listed and the price was very competitive. Looking forward to the installation.

They did return my call this morning to advise me there's nothing they could do. They do not have an office that serves us. She suggested calling a local roof company to come inspect it. Standby your warranty, and products, just because you don't have a local office doesn't mean it cannot be inspected or fixed. They should have a contract with someone.

Instead of finishing the job, Quincey Barrett ripped out the old doors, left the home in shambles, and vanished with the money. The house is now in a far worse state than when it started--it is unsecured, unfinished, and $25,000 has been stolen. This is not a "bad contractor" experience; this is professional fraud and property abandonment. URGENT CALL TO ACTION: If you have also been a victim of Quincey Barrett, do not wait. Go to your local police station and file a report for construction fraud and theft by deception. We are working with the authorities to ensure there is a paper trail for this criminal behavior. You should also report them to the State Licensing Board immediately. Save your family the trauma and the money--stay as far away from Quincey Barrett as possible.

NOTE: ALL OF THE FOLLOWING IS DOCUMENTED through text…read moremessages, phone calls, photographs, home inspections, signed contracts, and additional records. Recent reviews accurately reflect the fraudulent conduct of CPR. The company, owned and operated by Quincy Barrett (CEO) and Brandy Barrett (CFO), misrepresents services and caused us and other clients to lose thousands of dollars. CPR engages in repeated deception, creating a pattern of inconsistent and false statements. Communication is routinely delayed or nonexistent. Quincy Barrett goes silent for days and weeks at a time when updates are requested regarding the contracted project. Signed contracts are breached, and "lifetime warranties" become void when Quincy Barrett fails to meet contractual obligations. Quincy leaves before projects are completed or even begun. The project that was said would take two weeks to be completed did not even begin until 5 months later. The funniest yet is that the project remains unfinished one year and one day after the contract was signed on 12/12/24. CPR provides proof of current insurance coverage and then knowingly cancels the policy prior to the start of the project. When asked about insurance coverage for multiple property damages and a homeowner's bodily injury caused by materials left in the yard, CPR provided evasive responses and no resolution. The homeowner is instructed to cover the damages out of pocket with the promise of reimbursement, RIGHT... Documented damages include the central AC unit, windows and screens, security cameras, all landscape lighting, and most of the landscaping. Quincy Barrett pressures homeowners to authorize loan disbursements using false statements. When contacted by the loan company, he falsely stated that only one piece of siding remained to be installed for completion. CPR abandons a gutter, roofing, and siding project in an unfinished and unsafe condition, compromising the integrity of the home. The most documented deficiencies include gutters installed incorrectly, large sections of siding not installed, siding was installed on half of the porch ceiling instead of soffit, missing water barriers on exposed areas, no insulation in open sections of the home, an unfinished roof, multiple electrical outlets left exposed to the elements, and open gaps in the siding that have allowed vermin enter a previously sealed home now. Due to Quincy Barrett's failure to properly oversee the project in his role as project manager, custom window framing was not installed and may not have even been ordered. Security camera footage showed Quincy Barrett personally managing approximately one hour of the exterior project, which consisted primarily of walking the property and unloading supplies. A refund for the nonexistent custom window framing was eventually issued. However, CPR initially failed to provide the refund due to insufficient funds from the company account. Quincy Barrett claims the account was impacted by fraud. The refund was ultimately issued only after a cashier's check was demanded. Following the submission of the first review, and only review until today, 12/13/25, a 2:00 AM text message was received containing a screenshot of the review and a threatening message. The nature of the threat, whether physical or legal, is unclear. A request for clarification received no response. Responses provided by CPR now will consistently satisfy their claims, regardless of factual documentation. The conduct of Quincy and Brandy Barrett demonstrates a pattern of misrepresentation, nonperformance, and intimidation.

Using the Yelp app I was connected with a company called. "Roofing for Troops". I spoke to a representative named Jake and described my problem. He was very understanding and worked with my schedule to come out and assess the situation and at the same time repair the water leak. He and this company were very sympathetic about my son's deployment and wanted me 100% satisfied with them as a company. They did all this while also giving me a great deal. I'm sure if you're a Service Member or not, you're going to get the same satisfaction I did if you choose this company for your roofing needs.

In addition, this company is experiencing some staffing issues that has significantly affected the completion of my project. SIGNIFICANTLY! 4 excuses regarding delays. No one contacted me to update me on my project, I had to keep reaching out to them. No one can give me a straight answer. No project manager to speak directly to. In addition, there may be extra costs for something that was so obvious at the beginning of the project. This should have been stated and addressed early on, not towards the end. I could have signed with someone else. I'm not so sure about this company. What should have taken a week, week and a half at the most is now going over a month with no real response. It's starting to feel like a bait and switch. I've kept my end of the agreement. I have to wait some more and see what they are going to do next and when? I'd hold off on using this company for now. Siding looks great though.
