Good food. Good location with plenty of parking. Courteous servers. Clean and modern decor with plenty of seating. I visited on a Wednesday night. Menu was surprisingly large with many options - pizza, sammies, and dinner entrees. I was in the mood for some comfort food. I ordered the Italian pressed panini and a side order of waffle fries. Loved the sammie. It was filled with Italian meats and cheeses and no veggies. A glorified grilled cheese but oh so good when you had a bad day and are looking for some comfort food. :) I would recommend if in the area and looking for a casual dining option. read more

Pizzas and stromboli's are fantastic. Don't forget to bring cash or they'll charge you 4% extra on your bill.

They have a surcharge for credit cards payment. The food was good except for two things I ordered a teriyaki burger without the cheese due to food intolerance and asked for a slice of pineapple instead. They added a charge to my bill. Also, a soda is 3.50 which I think is high for a pizzeria. They have an extremely large menu. I would go back- not order a soda, pay cash again and not ask for anything changed. No wonder businesses are closing nickel and dime the customers. read more

I've been eating Franconi's pizza from one location or another now for just under 30 years starting at their Willow Grove location. Their food is consistent and delicious. Now that said, I honestly haven't had their pizza in a few of years, but that's only because their Stromboli's are sooooo good. Their burgers are also very good, but again the stromboli steal the show for me personally. The staff is always courteous and helpful, which my inlaws appreciate when we take them there for dinner. But man do I ever love the classic pizza place feel of their North Wales location. There is a reason they've been a solid business for so long, it's because they do a great job every time. Even the one time I had a slightly over cooked stomboli from them, they immediately offer to take care of it no additional questions asked and they did it quickly. I highly recommend checking out Franconi's if you're in the area you won't regret it. I feel a little bad I haven't reviewed them sooner because more people need to appreciate their great food and staff. read more

3 of dined in on Sunday evening, we ordered one shrimp scampi, one burger, two slices of pizza. We have been there multiple times and ordered the same dishes but never had that bad taste of Pasta, it was very sour with too much lemon. We called the waitress and she took the food inside. One of managers came out and told us "ok we will make it again." But we already finished most of food but did not want to wait for the food so we ended up canceling the food but this female manager was saying to herself with ton of voice and attitude "ok you guys want to cancel it because of lost momentum? That make sense" its not what she said, It was how she said it. With ton of voice and attitude So clearly, it was so rude. And im not stupid. I went to the front and she was talking to other coworkers talking about us And i confronted and asked if she was the manager she said and if i quote "yes im one of the manager HUN" And i clearly requested "first of all, dont call me honey" And i asked " what do you mean by that makes sense? Are you saying we are making it up so we would not pay for the food?" Then she stated that my two friends come in previously and return/cancel the food "all the time. Not The first time, HUN" I lost it and raised my voice too It was not good thing to raise voice or lose it at Any circumstances but its not smart idea to call grown up customer "honey" in the situation like that. I meant i wasnt totally acting with dignity the min i started yelling but she said she was being respectful I meant how is keep calling grownup customer ,who asked to not call that , honey considered as respectful ..? Then she threatened to call the police, which i told her to go ahead. After little more argumentative conversation, two friends came to intervene and I came back to my table. She attempted to downplay her previous statement, claiming it wasn't her intention to offend us and that she was simply trying to make a logical point about canceling food. But her words came across as insincere and contradictory. After saying "they do it all the time" which is not true per my friends the waiting staff and the male staff standing next to her appeared more understanding and rational. According to my friends, the male staff even pointed out her mistake and clarified the miscommunication. The waiting staff were also very understanding, came over to me and apologized for the manager's behavior, telling me not to let it get to me. She even offered a to-go box when she noticed we hadn't finished our meal, showing a kind and considerate attitude. read more

We dined in this Saturday morning and all I can say is that the service was exceptional! It was busy and I can understand why based on the service given alone. Dakota waited on us and despite how busy it was she was beyond attentive to us, we saw how she effortlessly floated around the dining room to ensure that all the customers were taken care of it was wonderful to see someone care about ensuring proper service. I love this place! My husband and I have been going here for years and it is always a sensational meal, the place is very clean, it's very casual, quiet, and relaxing. The menu is around 10 pages long, so whatever you're in the mood for, you can pretty much get. Their pizzas are wonderful, and so are their salads and their veal & chicken dishes are terrific and usually last us a few nights. Portion sizes are large And the service is great. Tried this place with a local flavor deal. Ordered a pizza, a panini, and a chicken Parm dinner that came with spaghetti and choice of soup or salad. Chicken Parm was best dish out of everything...pizza was no flavor and think dry crust. Panini wasn't a quality panini...used oily toast..not really panini. Flavor bland....worst part though was the experience as the owner was not friendly and treated employees poorly. Piss poor attitude. Not the way to do business. Too many other good choices. We ordered 2 XL pepperoni pizzas and a few appetizers. The pizza was decent, similar to New York style, although the crust could have a little more flavor. What I really want to promote is the cheesesteak egg rolls, they were AMAZING. I really liked the selection of appetizers and sides. phoned in for pick-up order, and even though I repeated it twice, the order was wrong when I got there. Appetizer of fried calamari rings was cold, and for $8.25 there should have been more than 12 little rings...so it lacked quanity and quality, especially for that amount. I accidentally ordered a Groupon for here thinking that it was closer to me than it was. I was nearby with my 7-year-old daughter and figured since one of the restrictions was eat-in that we'll go order our meal and whatever was left over, take home. They have two double-door entrances with one locked and no signs saying to use the other one or how to actually enter the restaurant. So we enter and an older waitress says eat-in or to go, we say in so she says come around. Still not sure where to go because it's like two separate areas and it looks like you have to go into the waitress area to get to the other side. We finally sit down and a waitress (40ish) comes over. I immediately joke and tell her I have a Groupon and the story how I thought the restaurant was closer to me and she all but cuts me off. "You have to use the entire amount now and you can't take any home". I'm like okay but I can take home any pizza we don't eat right? "No! Everything has to be eaten here, it's too expensive to do take out containers." So we go back and forth and finally, I say I'll come back because we aren't' going to be eating over $30 of food and finish it all today. So as I'm walking to my car I'm thinking it over and think, that's crazy. Let me go back in. I'll never make it back up here again. I go to the counter to a different woman and tell her and she says "what did she say?" As I'm telling her the original woman pops up out of nowhere and says "I told him it's too expensive for take-out containers. We have people come in and order one pizza and then get another to go." Now if that's the case then they are making out great. Pizza dough is cheap! The deal is for $30 bucks so you just got off with 2 pizzas that cost you way less than what the food cost is on your menu. I even offered to pay for the pizza box or containers in the middle of our argument. Finally, she agreed if there isn't a lot of food then a container is fine. So we sat down and looked over the menu. I watched 3 women a booth away (they sat down just prior to us walking out) order two pies and then tell the same waitress that they have a Groupon on her phone. They didn't receive a verbal warning or conditions on their order. As she came over to take my order, I even apologized for the argument and we ended up starting to argue again so I just let it go. I order the most expensive item on the menu- Veal and ask for it as Franchese (it wasn't offered that way on the menu-just the chicken prepared that way), an order of fries and a large plain pizza. The bill comes out to around $40ish minus the $30 Groupon. So now I just ordered the most expensive item on your menu but you're worrying about take-out containers. If you don't like Groupon deals/business then DON'T offer them!!! If you are offering them it's because your business hasn't been as good as it should be and you are relying on that to bring in revenue. So you just brought in a new customer and completely lost them. The pizza and the food were actually pretty good and I would have returned if I was at the nearby movies or the Montgomery Mall sometime. This is literally one of the longest Yelp reviews I've ever written just to say how unappreciated I felt going into the store. Why did the women in the nearby booth using the same deal not get chastised? They seriously need to rethink how they do business- look at the other review on here (by Jeffrey R) where someone asked for a cup of water and a straw and they were charged a $1 for it. read more

Not at all what it use to be. We've been coming to this place for over 20 years. They were pretty solid. Now, The pizza is just ok, but over priced. Almost 17 bucks for a white broccoli medium, or any specialty pizza. Last night we ordered Garlic Knots and the first one was seasoned ok. Then as we pulled the others out, they were basically dry, with little seasoning. Best part was I asked for sauce, and they kept saying it was in the bag with the other stuff. The staff seems kind of clueless and frantic. After getting the food home, they made a mistake on a sandwich. Made right on it, but when I made my second trip back, I asked for an extra sauce for the garlic knots and it was like I was breaking someone's arm to get it. They give these little tiny sauce cups and gave 1 for 3 knots that they charge individually for, no packs. Like I said, this place use to be amazing back in the day and they've let themselves slip and get lazy. I'm sad because we used to love this place growing up and each year just gets worse. I hope to see change for the better, but as of now it's not worth the overpriced bland food. read more

The people who answer their phones have zero friendliness or politeness. It's a frustrating experience every time. They never thank you for your order and if you want to use the coupons they put out to gain your business, they become so annoyed. The Salad Hoagie The Manager did not like hearing about or seeing a sandwich failure. Instead of showing concern about my experience, she insisted that I was talking loud and she wasn't going to return my money based on that belief. I didn't think I was talking loud. I was just expressing the hoagies failure. She was not tasting my sandwich after simply telling her that when tasted or if tasted that it was basically - a salad. She gave an impression as though I had actually asked her to taste the sandwich. She told me that I should know better, I come in there all the time, and I should know how their sandwiches are made. Yes, I do, and this day was a complete failure. She stated that they weigh the meat, but that means nothing, if you cannot see or taste the meat. She finally provided a refund but with remorse and an attitude that sickened me. I have been a customer for 16 plus years and I felt she should of been more concerning about my dissatisfaction, but instead she wanted to blame me and make it appear like I was this daunting customer who was acting up. read more

It's about time I reviewed Franconi's! When our D&D group has money, it's a Saturday favorite. The pizza is good. Not the best I've had; then again, I am spoiled for choice due to my location. Be careful ordering extra cheese - two weeks ago, when our extra cheese pie arrived, the cheese had displaced itself from the surface of the pizza, which was disappointing. The non-pizza dinner options also satisfied all around just this past week. I ordered the lobster ravioli, which was almost certainly not homemade but still delightful in the rose sauce I asked for. The three of us who ordered pasta dishes received generous portions of salad and bread with our meals. (Upon asking what dressing options they had, the lady receiving our order responded, "Anything." This lady also coped marvelously with our oversized order. I wish I had gotten her name.) Delivery is always timely and the staff are friendly. read more

A nice neighborhood restaurant, with good food and prices ! Park in a free, huge parking lot. Seat yourself, there's always plenty of room (this is a large restaurant). The salads are tasty and filling. The italian dishes are very good (even though they could use a little more seasoning). Free drink refills. I usually get the eggplant parmigiana/spaghetti. It is very, very good. I come here about 3x a month for either lunch or dinner. Truly a good neighborhood restaurant, with a friendly wait staff. I am a happy customer. read more

They made sure we had everything, from 3 different salad dressings, several sauces, and even came with disposable tongs and a salad spoon!
