Came in 10 mins after the order was supposed to be ready with a line in front of me. I find out after 10 minutes of waiting in line that my order is not ready. Either someone had lied or they gave my order away. The old man working there and the other man were arguing with each other as well so it felt really uncomfortable in there. This place is the worst. I ordered a pizza and soda for my handicapped brother, who looks forward to getting take-out on Friday nights. Well, it did not arrive - the driver called the house and said he could not find it, even though someone was outside in the driveway looking for him My brother's house is literally five minutes away from Papa John's. I went online and it said that my order had been cancelled! So I called the store, but had to wait about 15 minutes before anyone answered. I wish I could give this 0 stars. Ordered delivery for a well done split topping pizza this Sunday evening so we would have leftovers for work. The pizza literally arrived as if it had been sitting lopsided in the drivers car or If someone had dropped it. All the toppings were on one side and the dough was gooey and definitely not well done. Think that's bad? It gets better.. My fiancé called to complain. The guy who answered ignored my fiancé and was talking to a female and said, "girl you fine" and proceeded to try and hit on some girl while we could hear the whole thing. Okay so this is what happened, my family ordered three Heart-Shaped pizza's for Valentines Day. We get a call after a HOUR of waiting, they say they do NOT have any left!?!? So on Valentine's Day, you guys do not have the specialty item. We order this every year and we had to just settle for a plain large pizza. AND we had to wait a total of 2 hours to get a pizza. The reason I gave 1 star is because at least they had the brownie, thanks for that. But you guys run out of pizza, and not the brownie?!?! Without a coupon, Papa John's has the most outrageous prices in the world. With a coupon, it's a decent deal. In terms of flavor of their pizza, I feel like both Dominos and Pizza Hut offer more. Even though their toppings sound more appetizing, they are usually pretty bland for some reason. It's not terrible, it just never meets expectations. Some things I do like: the pepperoncini and the garlic dip that's included in every box. I usually end up dipping the entire pizza in the garlic to add some flavor. The most disappointing thing I've seen at this location is an employee putting a pinch of dip in his mouth right in front of me while I was waiting for my pizza, only feet away from where they make the pizzas. That was followed up by another pair of employees arguing and one telling the other to quit if he doesn't want to work. Just seems dysfunctional. I don't usually post such negative things in a review, but you also don't expect to see things like that when sitting there waiting for your food. Just the usual mass produced pizza taste. Papa John's crusts seem to be marginally better than Domino's (the worst of them all, IMO) but the sauce and cheese seem to be ok. For me, the toss up is between Pizza Hut and Papa John's but I'd rather have the local pizzeria pizza over them all (unless I have a really good coupon). Try the local pizzeria (Tony's) directly across the street! They only take cash so come prepared. read more

This location is near where my folks live and since I have two picky kid eaters, anytime we are over there for dinner, we usually pick up a pizza from here. Of the national chain of pizza places, I prefer Papa John's over Pizza Hut or Domino's. We always do pick-up and have never had an issue with our order. They usually have some pretty good deals going on and if you place your order online, then you can earn points towards a free pizza. read more

Absolutely the worst pizza ever made by man, at least 2 times now that we have ordered from the North Wales store, probably about 10-15 years since our last order, and then just the other day, because well, we were hungry and had a decent discount code to use. I was very hesitant to try them again considering the last time was so bad. But we did take a chance, and wondered if things improved in 10 or more years, but were very surprised that nothing had changed at all! I do not understand how they even keep in business! Or do they not rely on pizza for their mainstay? That is the only thing I can think of, other than there are too many people around who don't know what proper pizza really is. Oh yeah, their slogan-better ingredients, better pizza-sounds good, but in practice, it loses too much to make it anywhere believable. Their pizza can serve as a basis of building on (with a lot more ingredients), to make a proper pizza though, we have now found. We had to add cheese, salt, garlic and oregano even to make it edible. If I had more sauce and more sausage I would have added that too. Their crust wasn't even baked fully, so we had to do that too! After it is baked properly by you at home, it doesn't taste bad, but I would rather have a traditional crust any day. I don't know, maybe this store or brand even, is so cheap that when you go for an offer, like the 40% off we got, then they take 40% off their ingredients to make up for the coupon, and make you the last on the delivery list (ours was delivered 30 minutes after the longest estimated time), and the delivery guy walked up to the door without it being in a warm bag. It wasn't really needed though, since we had to cook it more anyway! I had included a small tip when I paid online and was going to tip him in cash when he got here, but decided after waiting an additional half hour over the max time suggested (yes, they give a range from earliest possible to latest), and he didn't keep it in a warm bag, that he didn't earn his tip. It turns out that the pizza wasn't even worth anywhere near what we paid even, because we had to finish it here, with added ingredients and baking time to make it edible. Try somewhere else, for pizza, if you have any standards or taste buds! It sounds like Tony's across the street is the winner in North Wales, hands down from the other reviews too. read more

The wrong pizza was given, and she made no effort to rectify the issue. I will never order from this location again. Poor, poor customer service!!!!!! They are very inconsistent about where they will and will not deliver. One week we are in their delivery area, another we are not. I think I will even have our Dept use the neighborhood pizza shops before them!!!! We had a very bad customer service experience last night-phoned in an order for pickup and once we returned home, realized that one of the three pizzas was incorrect. Called the store and was told not only was it our fault but if we wanted the correct pizza we would have to return to the store and pay for a new one-without even a credit for the one we didn't want and didn't order. Even the manager was unwilling to work towards a suitable compromise. We love Papa Johns but will never order from this store again. With pizza shops a dime a dozen, I would think that the owners/managers would want a great reputation for customer satisfaction as a way to differentiate....There is a new Papa John's store location in Chalfont- I recommend that one instead read more

I am very upset now with the business on 2 occasions. 1) about a year ago it was around 9:30 pm and I called to order a pizza for me to pick it up. The lady said i couldn't pick it up because they could only do delivery even though on the store app it says you can pick up until 10:30 pm. so i asked her again can i pick it up because i live right behind them not even 20 seconds walking and she refused again. so i said well can i get it delivered and told her where i lived which was not even 20 seconds walking and she said i would have to wait 45 min to 1 hour. so i told her never mind and she told me to fuck off which was totally rude and uncalled for. i told my self "first and last time". 2)Usually i order from domino's because they have better tasting pizza and everything else especially the wings and cookie brownie, plus they have good deals and online coupons and better prices too, but today because of the weather i guess the phones weren't working. so tony's pizza closed early today because my boyfriend works there and got off early so i didn't want to drive anywhere because roads are still bad because of the snow. so i said to him "okay lets try ordering from papa johns" so he said "okay". i then ordered online to have it picked up. i order one medium pizza with 6 toppings and an order of 16 piece wings. when i went in i had to wait 10 minutes because one of the guys didn't notice me. when i got my order it all came up to 38 dollars i was so shocked because at domino's i dont pay not even 30 dollars for the same things, so i paid and took my stuff and walked back to my place and when i open up the pizza box only 3 out of 6 toppings were on the pizza i was so pissed off i called to try to get my rest of the toppings but they said i couldn't . i hung up, then i tried the wings and they tasted so bad we had to throw them out because first they weren't cooked well and second the hot sauce tasted DISGUSTING. I was so angry I went back to the store and they told me i couldn't go in. I am done with them. I will never ever come back again. i rather eat dirt than their food.
