Emmert Dental has three locations: Settler's Ridge, Market Square and Bethel Park. I'm usually a patient of the Market Square location of Emmert Dental and so far, I prefer the Settler's Ridge location. I came here for an emergency appointment and this was the only office that could squeeze me in. I arrived 15 minutes early and they called me back exactly at my appointment time. The assistant was so friendly and made me feel comfortable at all times. The doctor was also friendly and made a great effort to make sure I left satisfied. I was in and out in a matter of minutes and the service was great.

Her assistant Amy took my X-rays and did my cleaning. Both ladies made sure I was comfortable and kept checking in with me throughout the process. My front tooth had a stain on it and she spent extra time polishing that up for me before the cleaning. The office is located in a "home" type building, so lookout for the big white sign out front. Plenty of on street parking when I went. The waiting room has a Keurig and plenty of kcups to choose from. They offer specialty zoom whitening treatments that I'm definitely considering. She is super sweet and happy. Very gentle and tells you exactly what is going on. She spends time with each of her patients and really gets to know you. You have to ask yourself, "do I really need this procedure to be done, or is the office after some extra income". Not here!! I definitely have had moments when my disorder has acted up there, but they kinda seem understanding of it. They'll give me a second when I'm anxious. They let me pause. They fight insurance for coverage. Now I'm finally making more and will be moving insurance, and be able to afford treatments outside what the government allows, which makes me even more grateful because i know they know what they're doing. Then fit me in early morning a few days later to do a follow-up on me. He always takes the conservative approach so as to not gouge you or your insurance. He tries the least invasive route first and only does more when necessary unlike stories I've heard about other practices. Not only that, he is always gentle and kind, constantly checking to make sure you're ok as he's working on you. I wouldn't recommend anyone else! Even after apologizing and explaining that I had made an error on my calendar, I was told that my family was no longer welcome at their office. I didn't have many expectations going into my appointment, but South Hills Dental Arts far exceeded whatever they would've been. Everyone I interacted with was pleasant and thorough - Nicole made the patient intake process easy and I felt comfortable telling her about my dental history and what I was looking for in my new dentist. When she did some initial scans of my teeth, she was quick and efficient. My hygienist, Jenna, was GREAT. She explained everything she was doing throughout my X-rays and cleaning in enough detail for me to understand which I really appreciated. When the dentist came in for my exam, I immediately felt comfortable with her. She carefully explained what was needed to fix a dental issue that's been bugging me and when it came time to book the associated appointment, I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to get me in the following week. A welcome change of pace from other dental offices I've reached out to in the past that never even called me back!
