If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would.. Found Dr. Piro through Yelp. Was looking for some where local, and near home. Found out through Yelp they were with Sutter Health, and not a private office. Which was a plus for me. Beside that all, I just want to say Dr.Piro is very easy to talk to, very honest, kind, and mellow person. He made my minor procedure so comfortable, and painless.. I was referred to Dr. Piro by my OB/GYN who told me she had seen the wonderful work he has done on some of their mutual patients. I am a registered nurse and work with other nurses who have worked with Dr. Piro and they also highly recommended him. Dr. Piro performed my abdominoplasty in December 2014. I am healing nicely and am very pleased with the results. Dr. Piro is not only an extremely skilled surgeon with a wonderful reputation, but also very calm, friendly and compassionate. CiCi, the office manager, is amazing! She helped me to prepare for the procedure and was always available for all my questions. I just went for a consultation. I have dark circles and kind of a little indent that I see as huge. He examined my face and said that he thinks I don't need any filler. I just need to cover up the vein with some make up. He was really honest. He actually discouraged me from having some filler injected... Update: I chose to have my rhinoplasty with Dr. Piro. Although it has only been 6 weeks since the surgery, I am THRILLED! Dr. Piro was recommended to me by my gynecologist, and another acquaintance who had a breast reconstruction after breast cancer. I consulted Dr Piro for a breast reduction. I've been having neck pain for years due to bone spurs. My breasts became larger after the birth of my kids and never got smaller. I tried all conventional methods of dealing with the neck pain and this was my last choice. The insurance approved the surgery, and I went ahead. This could be one of the best decisions I ever made. The surgery went perfectly and Im recovering very quickly. I really like Dr. Piro. First, his work is excellent. I also had my eyes done at the same time since I was already under anesthesia. I now have far less pain in my neck, and I couldn't be happier with the results. CiCi, the office manager was very helpful, and the staff at the surgical center was amazing. 11 Days Post-Op Tummy Tuck. I am a mother of 3, ages 1, 4 and 6. My abdominal muscles were basically non existent after the birth of my 3 children. I finally had the courage to go in for a tummy tuck and I couldn't be more pleased. Dr. Piro did an absolutely beautiful job. Even my scar 11 days post op looks wonderful. It's very straight and thin. His office staff is great. Cici, the office manager and the nurse Joanne are fantastic. The day of surgery, everything went very smooth with no complications. The first 7 days for me after surgery were the roughest, but every day gets better and better, I promise. Dr. Piro was great at answering my texts promptly once I was home and the nurse Joanne was also always available to help answer any questions regarding pain. I would rate Ms Askari's performance 10 out of 10. Recently I had appointments with two other physicians and I was appalled by the way I was treated or should I say not treated with respect as the patient and I felt as if I was an inconvenience for the office staff.  After these most recent office experiences, I am now more than ever profoundly grateful for the devotion and passion that Cici brings to the office every day in her capacity as Dr. Piro's office coordinator. Eight years ago when I became a patient of Dr Frank Piro's office it was Cici who greeted me and welcomed me to the practice. She was genuine and did everything possible to make me feel comfortable, from offering me a beverage to taking as much time as required to ensure all my questions were answered regarding a surgery or procedure. Cici's patient focused approach makes you feel as if you are at a 5 star SPA. Cici never once failed to have everything in place prior to a surgical procedure.  I cannot say this about my other physician's office coordinators. Cici does so much more than just performing as an office coordinator.  Some examples are; ¬ Cici always ensures that my expectations are realistic and NEVER pushes procedures or surgeries.  She has integrity and therefore I know I can trust her 100 percent. ¬ When contacting Dr Piro office with questions or concerns Cici immediately returns my calls.  Many times, after hours!!  I cannot say this about any of my other physician offices. ¬ Cici will in advance of a procedure or surgery inform me of what actions can be taken to minimize the discomfort and reinforces the information Dr Piro has provided to me. ¬ Cici will spend as much time as I require addressing my concerns regarding a surgery or procedure without pressuring me to decide as she wants me to do what is best for me. A few months ago, I decided to get a rhinoplasty. I then decided to see about fifteen plastic surgeons in the bay area. When I went to Dr. Piro's office, I spoke to CiCi, who is knowledgeable and knows what is best for the patients. She is also very warm, welcoming, and comforting. After a consultation with CiCi, I felt very confident about the procedure. We scheduled the surgery for two weeks after the consultation. The surgery was the best decision I've made in my life. This review is in response to Axelle D's review. First, reviewers like Axelle D are exactly what Yelp does not want. She left a bad review for the sole reason she could not afford a nose job. SHE NEVER HAD THE PROCEDURE DONE, but because she has bad credit, she takes a shot at the office and the manager, CiCi, which is ridiculous and completely uncalled for. Very tacky behavior. I have been going to Dr. Piro for a while now, and when I read that review I was in shock. CiCi is warm, professional and does all she can to make it work for her and Dr. Piro's patients. She cares about making her patients and sometimes works round the clock to make that happen. Axelle D has Ax to grind specifically because she could not afford the nose job which actually are priced very competitively. But, she decided to take out her frustration and slam CiCi and the office and that is wrong and what Yelp tries to avoid. Most of us on yelp are sincere and giving our honest opinion of businesses to help people out who are new to the area, etc.....it is not to slam anyone because we can't afford to eat there, buy there or get a nose job. She did this to another Plastic Surgery office because she could not afford their prices as well. Shame on you, Axelle, do not blame the office for your bad credit. Dr Piro, his entire staff and especially CiCi, made me feel comfortable, just like a second family and that is why I will keep going back.
