this place deserves NO STARS! I have been using Frank's for years to change my watch batteries but based on my most recent two visits I will never go back. it seems these're sheen a change of ownership or staff, or something. The staff used to be friendly and helpful, but four months ago I went in to have a battery changed. the employee was rude and gruff. I ignored that and still allowed them to change my battery. I thought the guy was having a bad day. two weeks ago I took two more watches to have the batteries changed. same rude guy. Now, one of the watches isn't working so yesterday i went to a jeweler in Town and Country where I got the battery changed. let's see how long the battery in the other watch will last. this place is a ripoff and unethical! Since my bae is a floral designer, I picked up a pair of diamond earrings where the diamond pattern looked kind of like a flower. Christmas Day she said she liked it, so that's pretty much why I'm giving them 5 stars. Parking can be a little tight since it shares space with a famous Miami-born casual Sanguich restaurant but do stop by. They are also really fair with their prices. Equisite jewelry in every price range and for every taste. I would reccomend going here for any gold and gemstone jewelry, all tones of gold and very nice original pieces. I dont know if I'd reccomend the diamonds as the lighting makes them glitter but the colors were quite dark. He probably has better somewhere else. I was very casually dressed and using a coupon for a battery change but the jeweler was courteous and he showed me a ring I fell in love with. He also offered a payment plan which was quite nice. Great service!!! Based on the Yelp reviews I went there to have my metal eye glasses repaired. A hinge needed to be soldered on. Frank explained that it should be done with a laser, a bit more expensive but worth the extra. He also estimated it would be 2 weeks before he could get to it.
