I had a referral from a friend for Kilos, so I drove down there. It's hard to spot, just a hole in the wall shop, but well worth it. Their quote was $900! I went with them and was beyond pleased! They asked that I bring it in on a Monday morning, because it would take four days, due to two days for painting the white, then adding the pearl coating. When I picked it up on Thursday afternoon, the car looked brand new! There wasn't a speck of dirt on it, plus they had detailed the inside too! It's like I'm driving a new car! I'd give them 5 stars, easily! They are a small family business, so take that into consideration if you have to wait for a call to be returned. However, this second experience didn't quite live up to the first. I had left my car the night before to ensure they could begin work promptly the next day. When I called to check in the following afternoon, I was informed they were still working on my estimate and that it would be ready in about 30 minutes... It ended up taking slightly over an hour to receive the estimate. After going over the estimate, I was surprised by the cost, so I carefully went through it with someone more knowledgeable about cars than I am. As it turns out , they had added a little over $1400 worth of suggested maintenance and did not notate this on the estimate or inform me when I spoke to them. Had I not had someone to review this with me I would have thought all of this work was required to fix the leak. When I called Perks back and began to ask questions and go line by line of "suggested work" it was then made clear to me what they had done. I still agreed to let them do the work and was told they would call me back in 30 minutes to let me know how long it would take to get the parts and return my car. After 2 hours I had to reached out to them again to find out when I could have my car fixed and returned. Thankfully, it was only going to take another day. All that being said, Perks does good work and they are very friendly. Yes, I will use them again but going in I will be more cautious and let them know up front my expectations.
