Wes at Frank Kent Body Shop took excellent care of me. He went over and beyond to make sure my Pink Cadillac was buffed from the scratches and painted. He refused to take any tips or gift. However I insisted he took at least a bottle of cologne. He was pleasant and encouraged me to be careful of drunk drivers while traveling on the dangerous highways. After arriving he made my husband feel comfortable by offering us snacks. I highly recommend him to service any body complaints you may have for your vehicle! read more

I recently bought a Cadillac from another dealer. I was hearing a whistling sound from the driver window. I went to their repair center to replace the seal. The tech showed me were someone must of tried breaking into the car and bent the door frame a little. He said I'd need tp take it to the body shop. The woman in Frank Kent auto body said let me take it to my body guy in the back. She brought it back ten minutes later and it was fixed. She said no charge. I was looking to get my bumper repaired on my Honda. I called the Honda dealership and they recommended Frank Kent Body Shop. I didn't want to go through my insurance, so I called to ask for quote. The receptionist responds, "do you know how much labor cost here." I responded, "that's the reason, why I asked for a quote". She then responds, "well where do you plan on getting a rental car". I respond "ma'am I would just like a quote why does it matter?". She then asks me about my insurance. I responded by reiterating that I didn't want to go through my insurance. She then states that some people end up not being able to afford the cost. My response to her was that she is assuming that she knows what's in pockets, all I was calling for was a quote. She then circles back around to the rental car question and I tell her I don't see why it matters, I could have a second vehicle, but again she is assuming what's in my wallet. Finally, I tell her she's made me uncomfortable and I don't feel comfortable doing business with them. read more

This is a mixed review. I love the Frank Kent Cadillac Dealership (and have bought three Cadillacs from them (2001, 2006, 2012 - see my review of them below) I've also bought my "knock around" Hyundai from Frank Kent Hyundai (2013) Due to reckless drivers (it happens) resulting in body damage, and the seemingly unending construction in the DFW area (with lots of debris dropped on the road, also resulting in body damage) I have come to know the Body Shop quite well and have patronized them 4 times. It's located at the old dealership spot on the traffic circle off of Southwest Blvd and Camp Bowie Blvd, and the lobby features an original 1890 Cadillac (which is fun to see, but is the only thing to see in the very spacious lobby)...but the actual repair experience is nowhere near as professional or pleasant. One time when when I went to get my Cadillac (after they called and said it was ready) it was stuck on a lift that no one (no one) in the shop knew how to operate, so I had to wait 1.5 hours while they called the sole employee who could make it work to return to the Body Shop I had already turned in my rental car so was stuck -( but I sure got a good, long, long, look at that 1890 Cadillac!) and this time (for my Hyundai) it's also way behind the delivery date from last Friday to now, (hopefully, probably, maybe) next Friday. It's probably worthwhile to have body work done at the Dealership entity, and I'll go back I suppose if I have to, but just prepare to be patient and recognize that the work will take longer than you (or they, I suppose, to be fair) think it will. read more

The Frank Kent Body Shop in Fort Worth did a fantastic job repairing my son's Acura following an accident. The repair representative Bobby did an outstanding job guiding us through the process, and communicating progress. Bobby worked with the at fault driver's insurance company to ensure the vehicle was fully repaired and quality parts were used. The repair team was very thorough, and did a great job repairing and repainting. Bobby and his manager Ricky were very focused on making sure the vehicle was completely repaired, and that we were very satisfied. The Frank Kent Body Shop was recommended by the Acura dealer. I also did additional research before we selected them. We are very satisfied, and had a great experience. I definitely recommend them! read more

I had a good experience buying a car for Frank Kent and thought I could trust them with body work after someone hit my car. When I took it in I met with Joe. He wanted to see the estimate. After looking at the estimate he told me that I was going to have to pay more out of my pocket or file on my insurance even thought the other party insurance already accepted responsibility. He was actually pretty rude and seemed like he didn't want to be bothered with it. I called the adjuster and was told that it is standard procedure for the body shop to call them if the cost is more. But he argued and insisted that I would be having to pay out of pocket if I didn't file my insurance and pay my deductible. I ended up going to Caliber Collision and am sooo glad that I did! They said that they will call the insurance company for me for any additional cost and that I had nothing to worry about. They seemed so much more knowledgeable and helpful. Would never recommend Frank Kent to anyone. read more

my name is Kevin Hutsell my car is in the shop now and after this it maybe forever. the reson I took my car there was because my ins. co had them as preffered. I had damage to my right fender and bumper. it started out ok but as time went on I would call to check on it then 1 week turned to 2 then 2 turned to 3. I went up several times each time it was something new they changed the part numbers, then the parts were wrong then they went just down the street to Moritz Dodge one whole mile away but they couldn't go get them till the next day. then there were more parts they missed the first time. some came in last Friday the 3rd but it would be Monday before the rest came in again at Moritz. so today I went in at 3 pm hoping to drive my car home but here Heath came again with more good news they picked up the parts and they would be there shortly really at 3 or 4 they go get my parts! so I said so my car will be ready tomorrow? oh I can't say that. all day to put the front bumper back on really. don't know what they pay these guys but all day to put a bumper on. I don't care but I will never take my car there again and will tell all my friends and family to stay clear read more

My husband and I had a scheduled appointment today at 10am as our car was having work done and we were needing a rental. Frank Kent/Hertz was late picking us up from our dealer's body shop. When we arrived, we patiently waited our turn in the customer area. When the rental agent (Employee of Frank Kent) came to get us, he and us were stopped by the Frank Kent receptionist saying he couldn't help us at this time as another customer had just walked in who was a direct customer of theirs. I explained to her that our appointment had been scheduled the day before. She told us "I work for Frank Kent"...meaning we would have to be put on the back burner until their walk-in customers had been seen. I promptly call the insurance company handling our claim. Frank Kent put them on hold and never returned to the phone. The insurance company called another location and rental company and they picked us up from Frank Kent and gave us excellent customer service. Word of mouth is everything and now Frank Kent has lost a customer and consequently so did Hertz. read more

Someone ran into my wife's Cadilic SRX, the damage cost 10,000$, they had my car for over 5 weeks, although they did give us a loaner car after the rent a car ran out. Milk was spilled in the carpet when the crash happened they told us they were going to have to change out the carpet, we told them we had a vacation scheduled and had planned on taking our car but seeing it was not finished we were going to take the loaner car but would not be leaving for a few days. The next day they called and said they had cleaned the carpet and thought the smell was gone. When we picked up the car it had a strong deorderizer sent to it. We did take it on vacation and the smell was terrible, on returning from vacation my wife called and they had us bring the car back to them, they replaced the carpet on the passenger side only, and did nothing else, not even clean the inside of the car, so the smell was still lingering as though nothing had been done. I know this is only a review, but I hope they don't do others this way.. read more
