Today was a visit to have a tooth pulled in preparation for an implant. Dr. Laro along with his assistant Cheri went over the entire procedure as a first step. Assured me of comfort and that actually began with the numbing process. It was done smoothly and without even a pin stick of discomfort. Work started on the tooth extraction and in a fairly short time Dr. Laro said, "that's it!" I was totally surprised as I never felt any discomfort or pain. The follow on care was thoroughly explained and I left with my medication and instructions bag. In there was also applesauce and chocolate pudding as comfort food. Great practice. Great people.

It feels like family, and I mean that in the sense of the "traditional families" God gave each of us and the "non-traditional families" we tend to build around us. In particular, I need to praise Tasha, who has cleaned my teeth for years. Here are a few words to describe Tasha: competent, proactive, kind, and warm...bottom line is she cares about her clients. Next, I need to praise Teena, the office manager. She is the last person you see on your way out the door. Teena promotes goodwill in everything she does, advocating for each client. My mouth is so sensitive that I have had horrible experiences with ever dentist I have been to. I don't get numb enough so when they start drilling it is very painful. Also, I will feel pain for a week just from the numbing shots. It scares me so much that I put off going despite the severe tooth pain i was experiencing. One day it got so bad I could not stand it any longer. I called into this office because it was the closest to my house and luckily I was able to get a same day apt. I was so scared I brought my husband with me for support. The lady at the front desk greeted me by name and I was brought right back to a chair. Grace talked me through everything and made me very comfortable. I explained to her my bad experiences in the past and how scared I was. She went above and beyond to make me comfortable and offered me nitrous, which I gladly accepted after finding out I would need a root canal. The lady who had to give me multiple numbing shots had a special trick that made them completely painless, even one on the roof of my mouth. The dentist was the nicest one I have ever met. He walked me through the entire thing. I was completely at ease. It went by so quick and painlessly. I have hear horrible stories about root canals and how painful they are but this one was easier than any cavity filling I have had. I cannot even explain how relieved I am to have found Modern Family Dentistry and how comfortable I am to go back for future dental work.

It speaks volumes for Dr Corrella and his wife. It is evident that Dr Corrella has the kind of compassion for people that you really don't see anymore. I had a 3 year nightmare with my previous dentist and felt like I would always have severe pain in several areas of my mouth that were created by my previous dentist. A friend of mine recommended Dr Corrella and I took a chance. From the moment I arrived, it was night and day. Dr Corrella was extremely thorough and very kind. Their system is so efficient, I can leave from work and be back to my office within an hour or less for a routine cleaning. They try to keep continuity with the hygienists too so you feel welcomed by seeing the same faces. Highly recommend this place
