I have had a fair amount of upholstery done over the years in another state, but I had no idea about who to use for upholstery in Indianapolis. Sherrill's had excellent reviews (and a good number of them, too). I stopped by their shop with one of my cushions and photos of my sofa. One look at their shop and also a complex project they were working on told me these people know what they are doing. It was organized and professional. In short order, they gave me a price that was right about what I had expected. Pick up and delivery when smoother than smoother, the sofa was done right on time and the work is impeccable. He was responsive, quick, easy to work with and his work lived up to the name. Beautiful job. After he was done, I could not tell where the repair had been made. Dave filled in a corner that had been nicked pretty bad by using a lacquer stick. He recreated the corner, matched the color perfectfully and drew in the grain lines, then sprayed lacquer over it all. He also did two more smaller touch ups and did not charge more than what he had quoted.

They put down covering to protect floors, bagged up old insulation and debris and replaced insulation and vapor barrier. The materials they used appeared to be industrial quality. We've had a lot of remodelers in lately who have been careless and somewhat destructive, but not Crawlspace Doctors. They were careful and respectful. They were on time, friendly and finished the entire project in 6 hours. They asked us to inspect the work before they left and described everything that they did. I have noticed a difference in the air quality in the house almost immediately. The moisture in the basement was greatly reduced. We can breath better. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again. They are great.

After that, he responded 4 days later with an estimate of about $300. That was a hefty quote, so I had questions such as what type of cushions (size) and the quality and color of vinyl that would be used on the chairs. Could I pick it? Five days later, he responded that he had some vinyl left over from a job he did and would send pic of what it looked like. Well as of this review, he never sent the pics. I ended up ordering the padding, getting vinyl and doing the job myself. The communication was pretty poor in this case and i felt that the estimate was a bit pricey, but I was still going to go with it. Oh well, I just took it as a sign of maybe I just did not need to pay to get this job done.

After I worked 5 days rebuilding and refinishing my 122 year old door, the holes needed hiding to make the door completely beautiful. Greg put on his magic touches and bingo! It is perfect. Thanks! I wanted fabric that would last a long time so she recommended this after I explained what style I was going for. Gregory gave me an estimate and the process began. When I went to pick up my chairs, Crystal had created two pillows for me! I am 6 months in with these chairs and the fabric has remained intact! I love my chairs so much! We've had 5 pieces of furniture re-upholstered by Frost over the years. They are the best to work…read morewith. YOUR satisfaction is their goal. If an issue does creep up, they will take care of you. Their people will come out and pick up the piece and make it right. I had an issue with one recliner I had re-upholstered. They came out, picked it up, and redid the seat for me. No charge, as their apology on that, and their service made it good as new again. We had seat work done by them and the seat frame broke when I first sat in it. I saw the issue, called them, and Frost said they'd take care of it ASAP. They gave me a new hardwood frame and a new seat. As good as it gets, really. I'd use them and I'd recommend them to my friends. In fact, I have. If you have a good piece of furniture, that just needs new upholstery...get it re-upholstered by Frost. It may cost nearly the same as some new furniture...but these days, you get a lot more for your money by using good "bones" to begin with. Not the new junk that usually has plywood framers and Chinese made mechanisms.
