Every year for my grand father's birthday we end up going to pacos. So I believe I've ate here another to have a opinion. Pacos is the most inconsistent restaurant I have ever been to, the food has a constant inconstancy to it! If you are with another person and order the same thing the quality will never be the same. I remember last year I came here to catch up with my sister over dinner. I ordered the T-bone steak expecting a wonderful juicy flavour filled piece of meat. I was wrong it was raw and had a horrible outside. I was extremely disappointed! But there are times where the food is of high quality such as the bbq ribs that where succulent and delicious. Overall pacos makes me want to live for another 100 years just to see where it will be. But right now they need to focus on getting there act together. I give it 2 starss but I have hope that pacos will go back to the warm wonderful restaurant that I once knew it for.

Complained to staff- no discount. Spent £71 on food that wasn't enjoyable. Go eat somewhere else to get your money's worth....

And while the outdoor seating is lovely it is overshadowed by the unambitious decor inside. The lunch sandwiches are so-so. My high expectations were let down quite quickly once seeing their slightly more visually appealing than average coronation chicken sandwich. It tastes as good as it looks... just ok. The only redeeming factor for me is that they serve Suki Tea, which I love. But while they serve it in Suki Tea pots, the cups are something out of your gran's favourite cafe... you know the one, it usually serves generic tea bags in a small metal pot with a flat lid that doesn't pour properly. I'll continue to visit here on dry summer days for the outdoor seating, but I have no need to try the food again. Perth is a place of average expectations and Willows meets these.

The staff are eager to please, but perhaps a little too eager? We were approached by 3 different servers for our order before we'd decided. The menu is quite limited, sandwiches/paninis, a few specials and home baking. As a vegetarian my choice was even more limited. My mum asked about the soup, (she doesn't like it too thick) and they helpfully offered to let her taste it and brought a small amount in a cup for her, unfortunately she wasn't keen on it (stock cube taste) but I did order it, as part of the Soup and a Sandwich deal. She instead opted for the special, Avocado, bacon and asparagus salad. She loved it, raved about the dressing and the salad leaves, no bitter stringy rocket! Unfortunately my soup/sandwich was rather less satisfying, the soup was served in a tiny teacup, and my Cheese and Chutney was bog standard cheddar and bought Branston, it was also just half a sandwich, two tiny triangles. Not filling for an adult man, probably just right for the OAP crowd though. We both opted for dessert, neither of us being full. My lemon cake was delicious and a nice big slice, but my mum's local Gloagburn strawberries were a huge bowlful, topped with two full scoops of icecream. The toilets were a weird trek down into the basement and along a basement corridor filled with old junk and noticeboards etc. The portions need a bit of work, either too small, or too large, some consistency needed, but for the price and the community service they are providing it seems churlish to complain too much!

As far as I know, this is the only place in town that serves takeaway dessert waffles. They're really good. They're only £3 and you can get as many or as little toppings as you like. I tend to lean towards getting nutella with strawberries and maybe chocolate sauce. But they have multiple choices of fresh fruit and sweeties to go on top. I also had the chance to try out the chicken sandwich, which is arguably the best takeaway sandwich in town. It's real chicken breast with sauces and salad. I wasn't a huge fan of whatever cheese they used on top, but that may be a personal preference. There are a few seats inside and a bench outside, so if you mustn't dash, then you're in luck.

The food didn't look very appetising. As far as the starters went, the chicken pakoras, of which there were only a few remaining when i went in quite late, were the best. For the main courses, the tikka masala, korma and chasni all looked thin and off-puttingly luminous in colour. I tried the chicken dupiaza which i found overly sweet, the southern indian chicken, which was hot but not particularly interesting in flavour, and the lamb bhuna, which i found the most flavoursome. The aloo bhaji (potato side dish) was hot and delicous, but i was less taken with the mushroom bhaji. Desserts were dire - mostly mini cakes, none of which looked fresh or appetising. There were refreshing melon and watermelon slices, which is actually a great finish to a curry. If you are remotely conscientious about what your kids eat, this is not the place for you - omelette, burger, chicken nuggets or fish fingersand chips. Not a veggie in sight! The dinner menu is about 12.00 for which you get an extra four curries in the buffet so lunch is definitely the better deal. My waiter was extremely courteous, so sadly the service was at least 100% better than the food. If i am enticed back, it would be purely because of the service which, when it comes to restaurants, is a difficult justification.
