Most recently, our VW was shifting VERY roughly and slipping gears, so we took it to the dealership who did - only - a transmission fluid test and said it needed a whole new transmission for over $5,000! We took it to German Auto Haus, and they actually took everything apart and it turned out the transmission was fine. They were able to fix the ACTUAL problem (valve body pump, catalyst converter...etc) for less than half of what the dealer quoted us. On top of that, they are just sweet folks. They delivered the car home for free bc it was on their way. My husband and I are so thankful for the people at German Auto Haus - they really helped us in a time of need. If you drive an import car, take it to these folks. They'll take care of you.
