Hands down the best place to go shooting - at any level. I am incredibly grateful to Wes for providing what was an absolutely amazing shooting experience. Couldn't have imagined a better experience if I tried! I initially called to check availability and Wes was very friendly and answered all my preliminary questions. When I arrived, he took time to recommend a rental - the phoenix trinity 2011 (which was amazing to shoot) - and explained the reasoning behind that choice. All of his advice was spot on and he then took the time to explain grip, stance, safety, and answer the multitude of questions I had. He even took the time to let me practice with dummy rounds so I was comfortable reloading and knew how everything worked. At no point did anyone make me feel bad about being a beginner - despite there being other customers who clearly were much more advanced than me. The rentals are also very noticeably well maintained. Since this was my first time shooting at a range and I didn't feel comfortable being alone, he incredibly kindly contributed his time to come in to the lanes with me and make sure I was comfortable, doing everything right/safely, and answer further questions. I can't begin to express my gratitude for Wes spending so much of his time to make this experience once I thoroughly enjoyed. I learned so much and I can't wait to come back! I would go out of my way to come back to this place specifically - it's worth it. Thank you Wes and the team and Modern Warriors for providing a place people can learn and feel comfortable and happy at any level! To start, this is now Modern Warriors Franklin- What an amazing gun store/range! I'm a 1911/2011 guy who competes frequently... and this store along with the Nashville location have the very best selection I have ever seen. Very rare, and high end pistols you just can't find anywhere else, incredible selection of rifles, suppressors, and gear; and the friendliest most professional staff with incredible customer service. Regarding the range, it's never too busy and very clean/professional. I'm all about voicing criticisms, but with MW; I simply don't have any. This is my go-to. read more

My dad took me for my first time and I absolutely loved this experience. The staff were so welcoming, helpful and nice. The elder gentleman named Chris, one of the instructors was super knowledgeable and helpful. I felt super safe and he made this a very memorable experience for me. The Good: SERVICE! KNOWLEDGE! COACHING! Ability to rent firearms to try out on range. The Bad: nothing The Narrative: for first time or experienced shooters, this place is fantastic. You can make shooting lane reservations online to be sure you have a spot when you arrive. They will provide you with free ear protection and you can purchase eye protection for only three dollars. When I arrived, they had plenty of staff to help everyone there. One gentleman behind the counter with patiently teaching a father and his two teenage sons all aspects of the firearm and they were preparing to shoot. Another was instructing a gentleman on how to clean his rifle. On the range, it was a mix of individuals men and women of all ages and teenagers. When I went to my shooting lane, the safety attendant politely asked if he could offer me some tips after seeing my shooting. A few tips from him and my accuracy and experience immediately improved. I'm excited to go back to see how I improve. Tips: They sell amo and have it in stock; if bringing your own firearm, have it unloaded and in case when you bring it in. read more

The front desk attendant was super friendly, but what is up with that RSO? This whale of an RSO (sorry but you made it unpleasant for both me and my friend) asked me if we are a couple or friends, then proceeded to teach my friend how to hold a pistol, the exact same things I taught her already. He also threw 2 spent 9mm casings at my friend telling her not to be afraid. This is definitely stepping outside his boundaries. I began my firearm education many months ago and decided it was time to purchase my own. I was very nervous about choosing the best fit for myself and called up Tony at the Franklin Range. He scheduled a two hour private training with me which was incredibly informative and empowering. He selected some firearms that, from his expert opinion, could fit my needs. I felt heard and understood during every second of our interaction. He is truly one of the best and I will continue to train with him as my schedule allots. Nolan at Franklin Range was super helpful. There was some miscommunication when my gun transfer would be received, but when I went, he took care of my paperwork and had my wife and I out in no time instead of sending us out without anything. He also ended up helping several other customers at the same time in a super efficient manner. Not sure who the other employee was, but he was really nice to all the other customers who were there as well. I overheard one of them say that neither of them had eaten all day (at like 4:30pm) and I dunno about y'all but I'm hangry by that time of day, but they were professional and patient and answered all my questions. Customer service was simply great. Update: went back to shoot my new AR and Nolan and another fella offered a few pointers and assistance in putting my red dot on and getting us in the range. Ok, do not walk. Run to Nashville Armory and the Franklin Range. This is one fantastic and top-notch organization. The staff will work with you at any level and want you to become knowledgeable and comfortable. The Franklin's location is clean, bright, and safe. The staff is fantastic, professional, and so happy to share knowledge and education at any age on the art of shooting. My Son and I had an excellent two-hour private lesson to help get him up to speed with a range of handguns. Tony was fun, enthusiastic, and a pleasure to have as an instructor. I'm a dad that took my 16 year old daughter and a friend to shoot at your range. We were all novices. The lack of pleasant help definitely minimized our experience! I must say there was a gentleman named Joe when we first got in the range that was very helpful and pleasant. Then came the shift change. Joe's replacement seemed to think that I should know everything about guns. When we had trouble, he was very condescending, to the point where I was embarrassed in front of the girls. Because of my lack of understanding, loading the clips sent us into the next hour. He did grace me with 15 minutes. We spent $275 for this experience and I EXPECTED MORE! read more

After purchasing two glocks and a ruger rifle from this location over the last 4-5 months, I'll never be a customer again after being "helped" by that punk Tre. Obviously I interrupted his lecherous staring at the female shooting range customers to make him briefly do his job. He was pretty irritated. Until his boss came in, then he half heartedly attempted to appear competent. I highly recommend Franklin Gun Shop, they have knowledgeable employees who are actually interested in doing what they're paid to do. read more

The staff was very helpful. I took my 14 year old son to shoot his first a.r. platform rifle. Our first rental was free, and the employee asked me if I needed help with the firearm ; I explained that I was 11bravo back in 91. Not expecting a military discount, because I don't carry any military id. He gave me one anyway. Best customer service EVER! The range was great, the firearm was dead accurate, and the employees were awesome. If there were 10 stars, I'd give them to them. My son chose the S&W mp15, and had the time of his life! Went here several times when it was Everything Weapons. Three weeks ago I returned to try out the new store now owned by Nashville Armory. The recent changes are very nice. Have to say a good word about Brittany who was our RSO that day. Not only is she very knowledgeable about guns and shooting, but she is also tactful. My son and I were mistakenly using steel ammo which is not allowed. Instead of jumping all over us for the mistake, she was very calm and explained the rule to us.
