When I called Mr. Steward, he was familiar with the problem and sent out Jason, a former Sears appliance repairman. Jason pulled out the damaged part and spent some time trying to find a replacement part. He was finally able to locate a repair business in Austin that rebuilt the part plus a 2-year guarantee. Jason returned and replaced the refurbished part, and the oven works like new. As a new oven would cost several thousand dollars, I was pleased with the cost and the great service. Mr. Steward also gives first responders, Veterans and the military a 10% discount. I highly recommend Steward Appliance repair and will use them in the future if needed. Lanny Brown

You were told originally I had to leave by 4 when I called you to see why no one had showed up. Not go to work but to leave. I had taken off work to wait on the tech. It was just after 3 pm at the time of that conversation and it would take approximately 20 minutes to get to me. So it would not have been done before I had to leave. I wasn't risking having it taken apart then having to leave with it apart because I wasn't risking not going to be back for several hours. Price wise you stated nothing originally about a discount nor explained diag fees and etc. You were told up front make model and I had the part. I asked how long and how much. You replied with how long and price. Which is very comparable to others. Honestly it was a hair cheaper. 9 bucks cheaper with NO discounts from the other companies that quoted me. Already lost 4hrs work to loose another 4 hours work to see if they show up again. 8 hrs for 20$. Insulting. Do not recommend using this company.

Getting Trout to make the necessary repairs was like pulling teeth, specifically because of Robert LaFosse and his lack of managerial experience. Excessive water damage was caused by Trout in the attic, which required the entire ceiling to be repaired/repainted. The public deserves to know the reputation of this company, the hassle they will cause you, and the stress they will bring to your life by refusing to own/repair their mistakes. They will deny involvement, drag out the process, try to cut corners, or skip out of the repair entirely. I called another company to come out. They checked the unit and told me there was a VISIBLE LEAK that was very easy to repair. This company repaired the leak that Trouth SHOULD HAVE REPAIRED IN MAY. They refilled the freon and told me I would not need them again. Trouth was purposely bilking me for charges when they could have fixed the leak 2 service calls ago. Don't use this company if you want honesty and integrity.
