This week I went in to Davenport Customs to have a UNAVI CarPlay system installed in my 2016…read moreTouareg. Everyone I encountered during my visit was very professional and welcoming. Once the install was completed (in the time quoted) both the young woman managing the office and the young man who completed the installation walked me through setting up the connection with my iPhone, making sure I was ready to use it, before I checked out and paid (and the cost was at the lower end of what UNAVI lists as average for professional installation). Since then it has worked beautifully (I'm thrilled to have my music and maps set up in a hands free voice prompted system again). I highly recommend this business and would definitely use them again.

I showed the receptionist and the technician my appointment message and was explained my car will be completed today. I handed the technician my key and Uber back to work. I received a message at 1:57pm, inquiring if I left my key. I responded yes, then I attempted several phone calls. I received no response. I Uber back to shop at 4pm, only to see my vehicle parked where I left it. I was told the reason my car was not worked is because the key was lost. I explained to person, I thought was a technician to learn now this the owner, the lost key is my only key. After waiting at least 30 minutes, the owner told me my key was located. This was a horrible experience!

They turned out amazing. I also had them clean my headlights and for lights while I was there. One other thing I had done was had there graphics girl put an emblem on for me while I was there. All in all it was a great experience and I highly recommend you give them a shot

They take your car somewhere you cannot watch, I got it back, although the tint job itself looked pretty good, it does not do much in the way of blocking heat, can still feel it on my face and arm when driving. Does not look very clear but maybe that is because it is new IDK. What I really am disappointed in is that it seems they never used a drop rag or something to prevent the soap from dripping down my door panels and into my Harmon Kardon speakers nor did they try to even wipe it off. I cleaned it off with a damp microfiber and most came off, got my rear seat wet, I noticed my Alcantara seat in the back now has some wrinkles. Oh and the label they use telling you to not roll down your windows leaves glue residue on the buttons when you remove it. Just cant recommend these folks, they are not very friendly, its like I was bothering them just me being there. Tint looks pretty good though and the price was the cheapest bar none. But I was hoping for a better quality product and better care for my car. Oh and Reving my engine in the service bay is not cool, Make sure you put your car in Valet mode if you take your car here. I give them a 2 out of 5, wish I went elsewhere even if they were more.

I brought in a highly-rated dashcam for installation, but they refused, offering only a $600…read moreoption. They assured me it had the blindside function I needed. The appointment was set for a week later and estimated to take 4 hours. We dropped the car off on Friday morning, and they called 4.5 hours later saying it was ready. When we arrived at 2 PM, it wasn't. The unit turned off with the ignition. After another 3-hour wait, they fixed it by correcting the fuse connection. However, the lens was installed upside down, showing the unit wasn't quality checked. By 4 PM, I took the car with the condition of testing it. An hour later, I called back--the rear camera's view was obstructed by defroster and antenna lines, and the side views only showed the cab. They agreed to move the rear camera outside, but this caused another problem: the gridlines during reverse were a foot off, making parking inaccurate. In the end, I was left with a unit that didn't cover blind spots or back up properly. The $600 dashcam wasn't suitable for my car and shouldn't have been recommended. It seemed they only offered this unit without considering its compatibility with my vehicle. I was told if I wanted those features, I needed to pay for the $1300 version. Their next appt. to remove the device was made 2 weeks out. At that time they refunded the mirror, but not the $400 labor. I cannot in good faith recommend their expertise regarding the products they sell, the labor quality or the salesman tactics of this establishment. Their level of professionalism only lies within their current structure - anything outside the box just "costs more".

I've always owned Lexus/Lexi and still do, so compared to Subaru (and a Subaru dealer or shop) service is basically bottom of the barrel in comparison. I bought a 2017 STi and contacted this shop after they were recommended by a friend in Atlanta. It took them a week to reply to my email after they gave it to me via phone. After a single email exchange where we'd agree on a date and time and exactly what was going to be done (in this case it was a routine lighting modification) they went silent and ignored any additional emails. This is not an example of a professional organization whatsoever. I could not recommended this business to anyone that values service along with workmanship because if they can't even communicate, how can they work?

They answered way too many questions via email for free, and the response times were so good they must have a full time guy just doing email all day. I've tried a couple of other small shops over the years that said they worked on Subarus, but even simple mods had them baffled. Any shop can do a brake job or bolt on an after-market muffler, but if you're driving a Subaru and want to get the maximum performance and longevity out of the engine, you'll want to have it installed right and tuned to match. On top of that they're just really friendly and care a lot about the Subaru brand.
