I Will not be going back ever. A professional barbershop shouldn't have students cutting people's hair at a professional price. I would pass on this place. No wonder it was Empty. Victorio has good intentions and is a fantastic barber, but I'm very dissatisfied with the outcome of my haircut. Before starting, I tried to make it very clear that I wanted to keep the volume of my hair on the top and sides and use the low fade to clean up the edges. I even showed a 360° picture of myself with a haircut that I liked and what I wanted. Victorio told me he understood, but I got a completely different haircut than what I asked for. He was very apologetic and respectful after I communicated that I was not happy with how short and high he cut my hair. I was still charged the $25 for the haircut and left a $5 cash tip as the way he treated me was nice. Again, im sure he has many satisfied customers, but im very unpleased with the haircut i received today. I plan to come back here in the future with even more emphasis on how I'd like my haircut, and because Victorio is definitely very experienced. OK, so after reading all the Yelp reviews, I decided to take the plunge and check this place out…read more While going through the reviews, there were two things that stood out... A) Tony is a great barber B) A second mortgage might be needed to pay for the haircut Both were fairly true, though I didn't have to connect with my banker. I told Tony exactly how I wanted my hair cut and he NAILED it! The cut and the length were exactly what I wanted. He even readjusted my part - which very few barbers seem to bother with anymore. After I told him how I wanted it cut, he said, "you want a really good trim", which given my diminished scalp is typically what I am seeking but rarely seem to get. I've only had one other barber whose work I've been this satisfied with and sadly he retired (and passed away) a few years ago. Tony is among the best to be found without a doubt. Now, as for the cost. In looking at the reviews, I was seeing $37 as the high mark - but that was a couple years back, so I went in figuring it would be $40, maybe $42. Nope... $45. That's twice as much as I've paid the barber I've been seeing in recent times - who's a nice guy, but whose haircuts are not at Tony's level. So, will I go back? Yes. Will I go back as frequently as I'd like? I doubt it. My five star rating is based entirely on the quality of the haircut I received and my experience with Tony overall. If I were to factor in the cost, the real rating would be about 3 1/2 stars. So that's it in a nutshell - hope my review helps anyone who reads it to make the right choice for themselves.

The last time I went I took my 4 year old son and he had a great experience as well with Kat who treated him like a big kid and gave him a great haircut and a lollipop afterwards. There are usually at least a few people waiting for haircuts but they take reservations and walk-ins and I've never waited too long as a walk-in. Everyone is friendly and considerate. When going to a barber you would think a nice straight razor would be used for precision especially with all the clippers and everything laid out, instead the barber that took care of me used a 2 blade disposable razor and didn't even have the decency to clean my neck up after raising it a little which I still had to fix when getting home. One of these expensive places where I'd get offered well whisky I didn't want and I'd have to entertain an untrained dog they kept around because it's edgy. I wasn't happy with the haircut there. It looked fine after the cut, but required a lot of maintenance: goop and comb and goop and comb. Then it grew out poorly and required lots more goop. Jim saw me and right away said "Who did this to you?! How am I going to fix this?!" Then he groaned a lot. It was great. He worked with me, offered suggestions, we talked through options, and I left very happy. He was even happy! Best part is that the cut now makes sense for the way my hair grows. It looks better with no taming necessary. I've been going to see him ever since and have no reason to look anywhere else anymore.
