Chris did an excellent job guiding the project and making sure everything went smoothly throughout the process. The installation crew (Manny and Omar) were absolutely amazing, professional, efficient, detail-oriented, and incredibly clean. They worked hard, respected our home, and left everything spotless when the job was complete. If you're looking for a company that provides great communication, quality workmanship, and exceptional customer service, I highly recommend Cal Coast Window and Door.

We got an estimate from Andersen (less the storm door). Their products and installation method were top-notch, but so was their estimated price! So we wanted something more economical. After some research we heard Milgard windows using an "retrofit" installation would be more in our price range. We also wanted a window/door-installation company that gave us a good price estimate (1/3 the cost of Andersen), was in our locale (Tri-Valley) , and had 5-star rating already. So we were happy to find Cal Coast that met those criteria. The initial estimate process was straightforward. Our estimator was friendly and efficient. The format of the estimate came in digital PDF format. It was easy to print, and the details and layout were very helpful with diagrams of what the windows and door would look like with dimensions. One measurement for one window was slightly off. I mentioned that to my estimator. He assured me that was not a problem because if I accepted their estimate, then the next step was for another technician would come out to the house to re-measure the windows more accurately and in more detail. We did accept the estimate, and indeed another technician came out to do detailed measurements. Then we received a revised and more detailed contract in that same great layout! The estimator kindly set our expectations that our windows and door were going to take 5-6 weeks to custom manufacture and about 1 to 2 days to install. Those timings were right on target, which helped us in planning other events in our life. Installation only took 1 day! The crew was great - courteous, hard working, and efficient. They put foam insulation in the space between our window frames and the new windows. The caulking work was professional. I was pleased. And the crew cleaned up after themselves perfectly. Another thing I was pleased with was Cal Coast's production manager helped me apply and get my city building permit for the new windows. The day of installation, the foreman handed me a nice folder with the printed permit with other instructions. I really appreciated that. Also after installation she worked with my city building department to schedule a final inspection by a city inspector. When the inspector came out, because the product and installation were superb, it passed with no problem. Of course, I paid a little more to have this permit processing service, but it was well worth it. Finally, as you can tell from this rather long review, I'm very pleased with our experience with Cal Coast and the Milgard products. I add my 5-star review to others that have gone before me for Cal Coast!

Jim is a true expert in this trade. He installed the motor, receiver, keypad, and all the components in a single day, and he didn't leave until every feature was tested and working perfectly. His professionalism and attention to detail really stood out. The entire team deserves credit: Josh (the owner) was the first person I connected with, Karen in scheduling made sure she secured the date on Jim's calendar, and Jim executed the installation with precision. I couldn't be happier with the result. If you need a reliable, knowledgeable, and trustworthy vendor for residential or commercial garage door openers, do yourself a favor and call Door Pros. Their name says it all and they truly deliver on their reputation.

The kind of guy that promises you the best in the world. Well when they delivered the door to install it the door was still wet from the stainer Door Pros had stain it. They swore it would be fine! Fast forward to 2026. I have had Door Pros out over 20 times to try and get the door properly working but every Tom, Dick, and Harry (smokers who smelled like a tobacco factory) they sent must have never been to garage door repair school. Joe the lead technician in the beginning told us the door needed to be taken off and sheetrock cut out so the door would run properly. The next Joe Schmoooo told us something different. So every guy that came out in 3 years had a different story. The last guy 2 months ago said it was installed wrong and he would have the owner call me next week but NEVER a call back. I even spoke with Josh the owner a few years ago and he said they would make it good. We finally said GOOD RIDDANCE to Door Pros. They aren't Pros at all. Just a company that gives a lot of talk and gives you no action. We called another company in SF and in once visit they told us Door Pros had installed the whole door wrong. Wrong springs, bend rails, etc. etc. The door after one visit works beautifully. So stay away from Door Pros. Listen to your gut. I wish I did as we wasted 3 years of our lives with that awful company. Too many photos to post but believe me I have them in a file of companies NOT TO USE.

We just had a fantastic experience with Leo's Glass Windows & Doors…read more We had several double-paned windows fail on us due to age -- a big double-paned, arched picture window in our kitchen, a smaller double-paned arched window next to it, and two double-paned windows in a bedroom upstairs. All were foggy, and some were dripping water between the double panes. Prior to hiring Leonardo of Leo's Glass, I had a reputable local glass company come out to see if they could help me with our failing windows. I was told no, it was too complicated of a job. I did not know who could help us. I had a foreman working on a big remodel job for one our neighbors stop by. He told me that if anyone could help me, it would be Leo's Glass Windows & Doors. This was the BEST recommendation I have ever gotten! I called Leonardo, and he came out promptly. He was thorough in examining what needed to be done, took measurements, and quoted us a very fair price for the work. He also is licensed and bonded. We hired Leo's Glass. Leonardo ordered the glass and in less than week, Leonardo and Christian came out to replace our failing glass windows. No need for us to replace any siding (as someone else suggested might be necessary). No need for us to replace the window frames (as someone else suggested might be needed). No need for us even to repaint around the windows! They are extremely professional, with the expertise, skill and knowledge to do absolutely flawless work. They are really nice guys, too. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 stars being the best, they easily earned 20 stars. We are thrilled with our "new" windows. Leo's Glass Windows & Doors will be our only call in the future for any such work that may arise for us. Thank you!
