With some back and forth with the front desk (maintenance guy wouldn't be on staff until 6 am), we are offered another room down the hall. THE PRESDIENTIAL SUITE!!!! I am talking 2 floors. Fireplace. Wall to floor windows with electric curtains and shades. A whirlpool tub and shower. 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a balcony! Let's discuss the balcony- you could have a party out there patio furniture and it leads to the awning over the entrance of the hotel. It was all ours for a glorious few hours! We hung out until 2 am on the balcony with our 13 year old- just soaking it all in. Living that high life for a few hours. Our 13 year old is now hopeful that my husband clogs more toilets at hotels. [3 for the overall experience (toilet issue, fighting with the front desk staff and because moving in the middle of the night was not ideal at all especially with a sleeping 3 year old.) The Presidential suite would get 6 Yelp stars!] Pro tip: good pool for families. Mini slide and a water slide for the older kids with a hot tub. I was on the slots and saw a woman sitting on the slots be kicked by a man that was definitely constantly being overserved alcohol. When she confronted him the staff told her to just walk away...... She asked the man to leave her alone and he just kept drinking I witnessed this and so did others! What kind of establishment allows this behavior. The woman was so upset. I defintely would of call the police! Noone should have to deal with this behavior. I heard her say she would NEVER COME BACK AND NEITHER WILL I...... I hope management will really look into this and make some adjustments that could have really gone badly.
