Employees have been nothing but friendly and helpful to me and I love the full aisle of drinks in the refrigerator case. The only thing I don't like is the parking lot! It is LIT, fam. So busy all the time. I understand it is due to traffic for not only Kroger but also their gas station and the other businesses in this popular plaza, but I always feel like I'm about to get hit.

Apparently answering a phone or responding to a receiving door is simply too much to ask. Drivers can sit and wait while employees completely ignore calls and act like nobody is there, despite clearly being on site. When someone finally decides to acknowledge your existence, you're often met with rude attitudes, poor communication, and a complete lack of respect. It's amazing that a company that depends on truck drivers to keep its shelves stocked can treat those same drivers so poorly. Truck drivers spend long hours away from their families, deal with traffic, weather, regulations, and tight schedules, only to arrive here and be treated like a nuisance. Basic professionalism seems nonexistent. Kroger management should spend less time ignoring drivers and more time fixing the receiving department. Until then, drivers should be prepared for long waits, unanswered phones, unanswered doors, and employees who make it clear they couldn't care less about your time. One of the most disorganized, disrespectful, and frustrating places I've ever delivered to

However, this store does seem to have hard to find video game merchandise after other stores have sold out, which is particularly useful. It's all but impossible to call and get an actual person on the phone and when you do, the staff can be overheard discussing about how they've been intentionally ignoring the phones because even they know they work in a dumpster fire of a Meijer. Hoping for a better response from management? Thats apparently a laughable concept, too. They'll just blame corporate for the excessive wait times, refuse to take any accountability for their unprofessional staff, and act like YOU'RE irrational for expecting to receive the items you've paid for on time or be notified when they are grossly behind schedule. Management also stated they don't have a way to "turn off" incoming orders or notify customers that they will not be getting their order on time, which is very difficult to believe. Oh, that handy app you'll also be directed towards to cancel your order by management? It doesn't allow you to cancel or change orders, no matter what step in the process the store employees are at in (not) filling it. Today was the last day I give this location a dime of my income.

Gosh, I didn't know what I was missing. This is a true IYKYK! Once you have visited Horrocks, you will return for life. This is a magnificent, rustic, unique, expansive establishment that offers a cornucopia of items. From floral, to meats, cheeses, wine, speciality items, fruits, snacks, vegetables, hard-to-find items and more. There is so much more! Things that stood out even though I loved everything about this place: -the vast selection of canisters of olive oils -the vast array of different varieties of balsamic vinegars (amazing!) -house made items in every area -house made popcorn with so many flavors, so fresh. -the many, many homemade soups: probably around 20 different kinds and delicious. -a ramen bar, what? -bakery -pizzeria -exotic fruits and vegetables and regulars ones too -the wine bar: sip while you shop. -house-made sausages and cheeses -house-made jams, jellies, local honey -extensive variety of spices, herbs, flour and grains - great service, very helpful. This is a must try and truly a destination. I cannot wait to shop and browse here again!

Picture a massive Costco sized store, but instead of big brand bulk items, it's local delicious specialty food items. You can find interesting things here. I recommend you set aside two hours to explore. I'm serious. They have a bar that also includes non-alcoholic beverages and the shopping carts include a cup holder. Where to start though? Fruits, vegetables, soup bar, cheese galore, huge candy bar with Michigan fudge... Lots of frozen meats and vegetable packs, a chilled dairy room, fresh sausages. Oh, the COFFEE and the OIL section?! Yes, you can taste the different oil flavors. And you can and will find the coffee that suits any taste. I make a 1.5 hour drive to go here every now and then, and it's always worth it. Bring reusable bags to keep your frozen food cold. And don't step in the plant section unless you want to come home with some flowers or a pretty plant, it's too tempting! I'm not saying anymore. Either you go or you miss out on the magic
