When winter came the furnace John sold us broke down during a cold spell, leaving us with no heat. We called a John five different times, leaving messages each time. John never called us back. I think Travis was the name of the worker who came. He found that my basement wall was leaking and that he couldn't help me with that. I told him I wanted him to go ahead and snake out the sewer so I would not be concerned about it being plugged later on and he was already here anyway. I didn't want to have to pay for another service call. He snaked it out and got half of a 2 gal. bucket of tree roots out. I think he had been told not to snake the sewer because when he was cleaning up the mess Bret his boss showed up and Travis said she said she wanted it done. I had mentioned to Bret that while I also wanted to know how much it would cost for the faucet for my shower to be fixed because it was very hard to pull out to turn the water on and I was afraid I would end up breaking it and have water going all over the place. While I was getting ready to make out the check for the $245. they were charging me ,Bret asked if I wanted him to check out the shower faucet to and I said yes. He asked if I already had the check made out, I told him I could do a new one . He checked it out and said they would have to put a new cartridge in it and that the cartridge cost $100. and so the cost would be $250. I told him well I really needed it fixed so go ahead and do it. My total charge was $483. +some change. After they left I went to the bathroom to see how the new faucet worked and was so disappointed at the mess they had left. My bath brush looked like it had purposely had sewer sludge loaded into it, it was totally ruined and laying in the tub. The bath mat an the tub had the same sewer sludge on them. A man that was rebuilding some outside steps for me ask me how the plumbing job went. When I told him what I was charged he couldn't believe it. I told him about the 2 separate jobs and their cost. He said that the cartridge only costs $20 at the hardware store and it only took them about 5 minutes to change it. I really do feel like Bret scammed me because I am an elderly widow who lives alone. I have not confronted him because I hate strife, but know for a fact that he condemned his own soul to the judgment of hell for a couple hundred dollars. That tells me that he don't even think much of himself. I believe Travis would have been an honest man if it had not been he was afraid he'd lose his job for it. give a 2 star rating only because Travis did snake the sewer and cleaned up his mess but would give only a1 rating if I was rating just Bret. I was prepared to give a 5 star rating before Bret came along and things went the way they did.

I signed up for the VIP furnace and AC maintenance plan without batting an eye. I know it'll pay for itself in the long run by extending the life of my "mature" HVAC system. Their furnace maintenance was thorough, and the receipt included a detailed rundown of system pressures they took. They explained that these readings will be used as a baseline for comparison next year. They informed me about basic maintenance I can do. I'm curious about this stuff and like to learn, so I can do as much of it myself as possible.They even put easy instructions for annual water heater draining right on the unit. I have confidence in their integrity, that they will only suggest maintenance or repairs that are actually needed. Also, Leann went to bat for me when I ran into a snaffoo with my home warranty company, when they ordered the new water heater from Texas rather than getting one locally. He completed a thorough check of both our units and discovered one of them was not operating effeciently. He quickly diagnosed the problem and performed the necessary repairs, but about 30 minutes after he left our house I discovered that water was leaking from the unit in our garage. I called the office and they told me Jim would return and perform repairs as needed, and in less than 30 minutes he was at work on the faulty unit. He determined that the unit's drain pipe was blocked, and over a period of 45 minutes he used an array of tools clear the blockage. We have had no more problems with leaking water! The product works as advertised. The Air Scrubber eliminated odors and within 1 to 2 weeks there was a noticeable decrease in the amount of dust in the house. We have a large golden retriever dog and any odor indicating the dog was inside was gone. As for the laundry scrubber, we were impressed. It is difficult to believe laundry can be cleaned without detergent. The Laundry Scrubber has no problem keeping up with our family of four, including two young boys who are budding athletes. Aside from major stains, which would require pretreatment, we have no issue. Clothes are clean and fresh and any pre-existing odors were gone. The washer stays clean and the musty scent which accompanies front load washers has been greatly reduced. Due to using only cold water washing is a one step process; our 10 year old can do it. I swear they are more about billing and repeat trips than actually fixing the issue and moving on down the road ! My only advice read all reviews and make your own decisions! For me ..
