If I could give "ZERO" Stars, I definitely would! So, I called Frank's Repair Plumbing back in March. I've given it enough time to get the actual problem rectified so that I can give an accurate review based on the work accomplished initially by Franks Repair Plumbing, what Franks said the problem was and what the actual problem was after two additional, identical assessments by other plumbing companies, versus what has been done to actually fix the issue (which matched what the other two independent plumbing companies said the problem was, very clearly contradicting Franks assessment, which was not even close to what Franks claimed the issue was). I had an appointment set for 8 am (first appointment of the day which was set the previous week, so it was not a last minute appointment) When they did not show by 9:30am, I called and found out that they ended up scheduling another client instead, which according to them, was a more important job - red flag number one, they value clients based on money made instead of keeping their word, an integrity issue. As such, throughout the day, they kept putting me off, and could not give a valid reason - mind you, it cost me a full day of work waiting on them to not honor an appointment made instead of just a few hours in the morning had the appointment been kept, and this is because they did not honor their appointment time as I was available as agreed to, but that showed me that they certainly didn't care about that. They finally showed up late in the afternoon and cleared my clog within a few minutes and then tried to quote me $11,500 for the problem to be fixed correctly (which was a made up problem come to find out-they claimed the whole sewer needed to be replaced) and then the plumber tried to sell me some membership, which thank God I didn't sign up for because after spending the money on the astronomical bill that Franks charged for the clog to be unclogged, would have just been more money "down the drain" (pun intended). As such, it turns out they misdiagnosed the problem and I was able to get the repair done for $2000, not requiring the sewer to be replaced or digging up my yard, which was not even associated with what they said the problem was (again, a problem that they made up that didn't even exist), and we haven't had a problem since (again, I gave it the last 5 months before making this review to ensure that the issue didn't return, which the plumber with Franks said that the problem would return within the next three weeks of him unclogging the pipe and because I lived in a town outside of their area, he would have to return to fix within their 30 day warranty window). Additionally, they don't work with homeowners warranty. I definitely would not recommend this company to anybody and would not contact them if they were the only plumbing company available. I'll save my money and still be able to figure it out myself better than they can. read more

We were very pleased with our service. Frank's Plumbing always is prompt and their quality is solid. I especially like they take the time to call to let me know who is on the way and then text a picture of the person. They also always put on shoe covers before coming inside. We discovered the water heater leaked in the middle of the night. Franks sent Mr Smith out that morning. We considered going tankless and Mr Smith explained what would be needed and answered our questions. We ultimately replaced our 9yo water heater with a similar one. It was installed the same day. We called 7/6/2026 and 2 young guys came out at almost 6 pm and ran their snake 2 times. Said it was fixed and paid 400. We put our toilet back on for one and was able to flush 1 time and the issue was still there with NO CHANGE. We called at 8am on 7/7/2026 and was said we were 2nd on the call.lust! THEY NEVER SHOWED. It is now 7/8/2026, they once again said he would be after 11 today and it is now 3pm and still NO one. We have no toilet, shower, can not wash dishes or anything and they have yet to make an effort to make this right! read more

Hot water faucet in tub would not shut off completely. Roy and his apprentice show up very quickly, they were both very professional and friendly. They gave me a quote of $500 to fix it. They had to go get the part. When they got back Roy told me that they had to get a new faucet and it would cost me another $200 because they had to cut a hole in the wall to install. it took a total of 5 minutes to replace it. I'm not a plumber, but $700 to replace a tub faucet is really pricey read more

I had a clogged sink, very simple clog and Franks attempted to charge me $397 to run a snake through a cleanout. I ended up renting a snake from rayburn rental for $48 and did it myself. read more

I had a simple faucet cartridge replacement that required parts I could have bought retail for $60. Frank's bill was $440. The only reason I called them in the first place is I was suckered into becoming a Diamond Club member for $16.95 a month. read more

Booked online for an appointment for Friday between 2 and 4 pm to unclog kitchen drain, received confirmation email. Friday morning at 7:10, I missed a call from them. Voicemail said to call them back to verify that I still needed them to come. I call back and get told they can come on Wednesday, I said I have an appointment for today. I'm told their online booking doesn't work correctly and they only service outside of Amarillo first thing in the morning, I said I'm sorry but I can't wait 6 days for use of my kitchen sink. Can't believe they waited until the morning of to contact me, very unprofessional. read more

I made a call for my boss the other day to get a repair. The lady on the phone was so rude to me. Terrible people skills as well as customer service. She basically accused me of not being associated with the business I was calling for and not having any money. Talk about making a snap judgment. She didn't even get as far as to ask me what we needed a repair for. She wouldn't set up anything before my boss called her back. My boss was annoyed with the request as well. Dennis Martin is the repair man that was picked for our house. He was to repair the cartridges on a sink. tub and the shower. I had to order replacement parts for the sink that he destroyed, he said he needed to order parts and left our shower and tub exposed and unusable for over a month. Thank goodness we have a second bathroom. On return he said he couldn't fix it after all and we are having to repair it ourselves. I've always had great experiences with Franks. I've used them several times and never a problem! The guys they send are always Friendly and seem to know what they're doing. I also appreciate you don't have to wait a long time for them to send help when you need it. We've used them to repair plumbing issues, they completely replaced our sewer lines, and most recently they fixed a gas leak. Be aware! I set up an appointment online for a "free" estimate but it isn't "free". The person I chatted with online did not disclose the service fee to just come out. After looking at our job they told us there was a $79 fee. When my husband told them we were not informed about a fee, they said it's on the webpage. Dennis came out and gave us a quote for 1600.00 for sump pump replacement and never actually looked at pump but stated that he knew it was burnt by looking at cord. Got it fixed 2 days later for $85 with another reputable company. The pump was actually good but some part was stuck and once cleared it's now working fine...even if we needed a new pump, the quote was only $300-$400. Always get more than 1 quote for any services needed. read more

Called them on Christmas Eve and they came out to fix a water leak. Questioned them about the price so they repaired the leak not as they said they would. Very poor job but guaranteed it for 90 days. Less than 30 days later leak was back in same spot they repaired. Called to have them fix it and was told it would be the next day before they could be there. As no one would wait 24+ hours without water especially on a Monday morning I was forced to call another plumber. And they call this a guarantee. Never again and if I could give them no stars I would. Way too many plumbers in this town to pick from. These guys were amazing! We had a leak in the pipes in our yard and they were over in no time to fix it! They were very courteous and took their time to get the job done right. You could tell they knew what they were doing and they provided a guarantee for their work.
