This nursery is THE BEST. I am in the Sacramento area and had special ordered a Brackens Brown Beauty Magnolia from Green Acres to be delivered to my house. Upon arrival, the main branch in the middle was broken off. I got a refund, but they would not get me another one. After searching, I found this nursery which grows Brackens Brown. I spoke with Cesar at the growing grounds. He told me to come down and they would find me what I need. Once there, Peggy and Esteban took a great care of me. Peggy picked out the best looking tree in the growing area and Esteban assisted in getting me loaded up. Everyone that I dealt with on site was friendly courteous, and answered all my questions. Got a shade tree and hoping for the best. The tree was reasonably priced even with paying a little extra for the recommended fertilizer conditioner and pods. Hope the tree grows well, it is positioned in our yard and right out my window I sit at while on my computer. Horrible, if not a white rich lady buying 5-6 plants, your not to welcome, or I guess if your a landscape contractor that looks to brown the service is limited. Spent $1,800 today and almost felt like I bothered them. read more

I received helpful service right when I entered the plant area and am very happy with the plants I bought. Even though I am obviously capable of loading my plants into my car, an employee insisted that he help and grabbed a plastic liner so my trunk wouldn't get dirty. The inventory is good, may be a little pricey, I'm not sure. Checkout was slow but the lady's were very nice. I'll be going back. read more

Really nice variety of plant selection but service was terrible. I went ready and excited to buy a tree and asked for a little guidance and was treated like an idiot this is the second time I've had a bad experience with them I purchased a set of trees from them years ago with there warranty and one died but before it died I tried to return it and they said it needed to be completely dead so I brought it back home replanted it and sure enough it died but by that time the warranty had expired I was so upset because it was a matching pair for the front of the house they wouldn't even find me a replacement . We love buying all our plants and fruit trees at Frantz Garden Center (next door to the Wholesale Nursery) in Hickman. They have the best quality and selection around. The staff are very nice and helpful every time we visit. Today we were helped by one of their employees named Sean. He was so helpful and knowledgeable and gave us such excellent service. read more

Avoid this place at ALL! Cost, The absolute worst ever customer service I have EVER!! Come across. First off good luck using their maps or google location, they have no info and takes you to the wrong place. The website has no info on days or hours open. If you do find this disastrously disappointing sorry excuse for a gardening store, good luck finding help. One assbag employee was walking with other employees and asked if we were finding everything, I replied no, and pulled out my phone to show him what we were looking for. Told him the type but wanted to show him the size. I look up and they were just walking off. I said rather loudly, hello?? Just gonna walk off. And they ignored me and kept walking. On the way out we went to complain and hope to get help. NO ONE THERE. Prices are sky high, no help, rude service. STAY AWAY AND DO NOT SUPPORT THIS TYPE OF TERRIBLE BUSINESS! read more

So I was looking for a lot of a particular tree! I called this place they were helpful over the phone! Went to check it out, and wow! this place had the best customer service, helpful people, who got me what I needed and didn't try to sell many more then I was looking for! Got it and out of there very quick with all the trees I needed!! It's a big and beautiful place with everything you might need! We own a buisness and two homes we will use them from now on for all of our landscaping needs!!!!! **** online address does not take where you need to go it takes you to there business center. This is an amazing nursery. The staff is super well informed, and super helpful. It is rather like going to a 5 star spa hotel that just happens to have an amazing supply of really well grown plants at really good prices. I cannot over praise the people who help us select plants, and then load them into our truck. They were all provided the best experience that I have had buying plants in a very long time. Oh, and they have great COVID protocols in place, and they all wore their masks up over their noses just like they should. Great business, great service. Five stars all around. Worth the drive. My husband and I have shopped at Frantz Nursery for many years. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They have a large selection of healthy plants and trees to chose from. Everything we have purchased there has thrived in our yard. The staff is friendly and provides great gardening tips. A few years back we had an unique request for a specific size and shape arbutus marina tree. They had a selection of trees the size we needed and helped us select a tree that matched the height and shape of the existing trees in our aerial floating hedge. When planted the tree looks like it had been planted with original trees. We enjoy shopping at the well laid out Frantz Nursery where there is always someone there to assist us. Thanks read more

Please listen to me!!!!Please avoid this place at all costs or better yet do not even go to Waterford just to be sure you or your dear loved ones are not even close to this horrible place. They sell dead trees!!!! I had 30 acres of trees for 20+ years and I know how to take care of bare root trees. They give trees a seven day warranty? How are you going to know anything about a tree in seven days? Or they sell a one year warranty for trees. Again folks you have been WARNED!!!!! read more

I went here the other day looking for a apple tree. When I got there I was able to look around with no problem I was unable to find what I was looking for so I asked a worker there name WES. He was such a nice guy he asked me questions on what I was looking for then told me what they had. To be honest some of the apple names I did not know what type they were. But he explaned that some were for baking. He took the time to explane which to me was nice he did not make me fill bad about asking questions. I will recommend this place to my friends and family. read more

My favorite place to purchase plants. The plants here are so hardy compared to plants I've purchased from large chain home improvement stores. The staff here has always been great and very helpful. read more
