Then I found Dr. Margie Amos. I left my appointment feeling like I could cry again, but this time they were tears of happiness. I finally had answers and was met with a doctor who was patient, attentive, and never rushed me. She wasn't bothered by my anxiety or my long list of questions. She was thorough, educational, and incredibly kind. I am so grateful I found her and that she took the time to truly get to the bottom of what was going on. She ordered tests that no one else had considered and looked at everything from multiple perspectives. She provided several options for next steps, clearly explained each one, and helped create a game plan we both feel confident about. I truly cannot say enough good things about this doctor.

I have never experienced this level of negligence, disorganization, and complete lack of…read morecommunication from a medical practice. I had surgery scheduled for months. I arranged my entire life around it, took an extended leave from work, made arrangements for my recovery, and showed up at the hospital on the morning of my scheduled surgery prepared to have the procedure. **The hospital had no record of my surgery.** I was left standing there on the morning of surgery trying to figure out what had happened. I was later told that the person responsible for scheduling at my doctor's office had sent the request to the hospital, but the hospital says they never received it. Apparently, no one from the office ever followed up to confirm that an operating room had actually been reserved. Because of that failure, my surgery did not happen. They then attempted to reschedule me for the following Monday. At that point, the hospital/anesthesiology team required additional medical testing before proceeding. I completely understood the need for the testing and immediately did everything that was asked of me. I have now completed the required testing and have repeatedly called and begged this office to tell me what is happening and get my surgery back on the schedule. **They have essentially stopped responding to me.** The most unbelievable part is that I finally had to get **my insurance company involved just to find out what was happening.** My insurance company contacted the practice and then informed me that the person responsible for scheduling my surgery had gone on vacation and would not return until the 20th. No one from the practice bothered to tell me this. Apparently, after their original scheduling error caused me to show up at a hospital for a surgery that wasn't actually on the hospital's schedule, my case was simply allowed to sit while the person handling it went on vacation--with seemingly no one else taking responsibility for getting my surgery scheduled. I have been calling. I have been leaving messages. I have explained repeatedly that I am already off work and losing income. I have pleaded for someone to call me back. At this point, I don't even have enough time left in my leave to reasonably schedule the surgery and recover before I am supposed to return to work. This isn't a missed haircut or a dinner reservation. **This is surgery.** Patients arrange their jobs, finances, transportation, family support, recovery care, and their entire lives around a surgical date. There is absolutely no excuse for a medical practice to allow a patient to arrive at a hospital for surgery without confirming that the surgery was actually scheduled--and then, after causing that disruption, fail to communicate with the patient while the situation becomes progressively worse. What has been most upsetting is not simply that a mistake happened. People make mistakes. It is the **complete lack of urgency, accountability, communication, and effort to fix the mistake afterward.** I trusted this practice with my medical care. Instead, I have been left chasing them for answers while losing income and watching the window I set aside for a medically necessary procedure disappear. I am posting this because prospective patients deserve to know how this office handled my surgical care when something went wrong. I am still waiting for someone from this practice to take responsibility, call me, and tell me how they intend to get my surgery scheduled.

I don't like dishonesty so that threw a red flag. Then things got worse....I was scheduled for surgery but due to not being vaccinated and having a miscommunication with an office staff member, Dr King suddenly would not answer my call or portal message and instead the man in her office said she was not interested in working with me anymore...!?!? When I asked why, I was not given a reason but instead told to message Dr King in the portal which I did and was never replied to or contacted. Keep in mind, at this point I was scheduled for surgery which I then had to canceled. This was a huge waste of my time and then her office had the nerve to send me a bill! Horrible experience with this group. When I called to discuss the bill they sent me they were extremely rude and did not think it was unreasonable to send me a bill after denying me service for no reason that I can understand and no effort to communicate with me about it. Total mystery and extremely rude service not to mention, very sneaky stuff with how they bill insurance companies. Steer clear!

if there was a 0 star option i would select it. I was referred to this clinic by 2 friends who said…read morethe doctors are wonderful. I called and made an appointment as a new patient told them all my general info and everything was good to go. I get a reminder call for my appointment all is normal see you tomorrow etc... I show up early fill out the paperwork with insurance info and then hand it in.. upon which i am informed they need to collect 5-10 dollars from me for the visit (even though i have 0 copay per my insurance card) i ask why.. since I've never heard of this, and the answer is something along the lines of since you are a new patient and you aren't established and we assume you work off a deductible we don't know if you hit that deductible yet so we need to collect something and you will be reimbursed by insurance if its not needed.. Well i was not happy, i made the appointment a month ago and no one told me about a payment, you call to remind me and don't mention the payment.. THEN i ask if i can give her a dollar because this seems ridiculous, and she needs to text her office manager to see what the minimum she can collect is.. so i wait. Call me up and tell me .. well actually you have to pay in full for the appointment for the same reasons that are illogical. So now my 5-10$ goes to 260$ + since she wasn't really sure what it would cost because i hadn't had the appointment yet. AND AGAIN... no one ever mentioned this in scheduling, or the call back that there was even a possibility of a payment. I do not recommend them at all maybe the doctors are wonderful, but you cant see them as a new person unless you front the visit price the first time.. waste of time.

I was told by several staff members that a referral from my doctor should allow me to be seen. However, my referrals were repeatedly denied, and I was ultimately told they do not accept Medicaid patients--something that directly contradicts what I had been told earlier. This lack of consistency and transparency has made an already stressful situation even more difficult. At a time when I urgently need care, I feel dismissed and unsupported. It is deeply frustrating to feel like access to care is being determined arbitrarily, rather than based on patient need. No one should have to fight this hard just to be seen--especially for essential women's health services. I hope the clinic reevaluates how they communicate policies and handle patients in vulnerable situations. Access to care should not feel this inaccessible.
