I'm speaking from what I experienced with the first project they completed for me last week. I asked for another estimate, which is for board house-to-fence sidewalk with curbs to unify the patio with both sides of the house. They are, even now, working on the second project I requested as I'm typing this review. Alex's Construction is a rare breed in this day of profit over people. The pad I had him pour was not proper level and out of square. Out or square forced my carport to…read morehang over, looks tacky. He tried to explain that the out of level was to drain properly to the street which I understand, east to west, the water drains south to north not towards the street but puddles on the steel legs of my carport. The level is off 8 inches from south to north, so my carport ended up losing 8 inches of height and was charged extra to remove 8 inches from every leg on north side. The driveway edges were not troweled correctly, ended up all cracked and he came back to fix but already cracked off again, very tacky. They poured concrete on my existing concrete and let it dry, staining the concrete and looks very tacky. They cleaned their wheel barrels in the middle of my yard, along with all the sand and cigarette butts I had to clean up after them. My driveway was left a muddy mess from their power wheel barrels and again had to spend a whole day power washing it myself. Splattered concrete that won't power wash off all over my garage door and driveway along with scratches/dents from the demo and damaged the edge of my existing garage floor. The entry way to my carport pad has leaves dried into and deep marks left in it to dry. I told him I wanted it to match my existing driveway and he broomed it anyway, but did a sloppy job brooming it as well and left leaves and sticks that left surface marks. Broom lines are not straight and leaves were just broomed in as well not removed. He also demands payment at beginning and then before the job is finished... now I see why! Don't bother with this guy! Once it's dry it's too late, don't make my mistake, pay after he is done NOT before! Better yet just find a professional as he is NOT.

They always…read moreshowed up on time and took the time to explain things to make sure I understood all my options. Their production crew was fabulous. Again showed up on time - they may have been a bit early in fact - walked me through everything again and went to work. I needed an electrician and was having a really difficult time finding one so one of the crew made a few calls and had someone in there the same day so my project could be finished. The crew was kind, professional and efficient. They also cleaned up after themselves and took many precautionary measures to avoid messes. Crawlspace repairs are STRESSFUL but Vesta made it a lot less stressful. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone needing help.

HE DOESN'T HAVE A WEBSITE BUT TYPE IN MAESTRO MASONRY IN FACEBOOK AND YOU WILL FIND HIM! I originally went on yelp to research them and came across one with high reviews but I never heard back from the guy until 2 weeks later. I then decide to visit the dreaded craigslist for one because knowing a brick mason wasn't at the top of my list! I came across Tony's ad and click on his facebook page. I then witness all of his amazing work and notice that his work is superb! Lots of brick mason's in their photos I found that they would tuckpoint the brick but smear it on and leaving you with just a messy end product. I was able to text Tony a photo of my planter and explain to him what I'm wanting he immediately responded with a quote. He Is a busy man and fills up quickly so he came out 2 weeks later and even completed a few other spots he pointed out that I hadn't noticed before. He was prompt, professional, kind and overall just had a wonderful experience with his work. You could tell he knew exactly what he was doing and he even gave me helpful tips on how to prevent cracks in my flower beds for the future.
