    Stallion Concrete

    Stallion Concrete

It would be VERY easy for me to report that Hanniel Malagon and Stallion Concrete did a great job…read morepouring the driveway and that they GAVE us better concrete than we paid for. I could say the finished work looks better than we ever imagined. I could report this and other nice things I would likely be saying if any of a number of great companies had done the work. But what I would like to report is that these folks did such a wonderful job of befriending us, and making us feel like they would not have it any other way than us being totally satisfied, that we immediately called them back to do the foundation for a 12 x 12 workshop in our back yard. And once again, I could easily tell you all sorts of nice things about the slab they poured for us, or the care they took not to disturb our lawn and plants, but once again it is the friendship they built with us that all but forces me to talk about that instead. We are friends with these people now. Hanniel and his little boy are like family now. And they have helped us in ways we never imagined. Hanny recommended a roofer to us who saved us at least $3600 off of what we were about to pay someone else, and they are doing better work than we asked for. And Hanny recommended an electrician who, when I asked him for an estimate told me exactly what he was going to do, gave me a list of materials and told me exactly how much the materials were costing him, gave me the option to buy the stuff myself if I could get a better deal, and then asked me, "What do you feel comfortable paying us for labor?" I threw out a low ball figure, and he told me exactly what he would do for me for that price and then gave me a couple of options that were, without a doubt, better options for me and my wallet. Where have these people been all of my life? and I have Hanniel to thank for this. I would not even DREAM of calling anyone else but Stallion Concrete for my next concrete project, and I can tell you in all honesty, I probably will call Hanny first if I were looking for a used car or a cruise ship vacation. While I have never broached these subjects with him, I am SURE he knows the right people where I will get a Christian treatment from someone who actually cares about me and my happiness with the finished work. No, they are not paying me for telling you these things, and no, they are not giving me some sort of free work or other enticements. They earned this from me by doing a great job for a fair price, and for earning my trust in the process. and hey, I'm not doing this as a favor to them, I am taking the time to write this review FOR YOU. I think you will thank me later for this.

We spend a lot of time hanging out on the new back patio. The price was right on the money and worth every penny!! I have a few future projects and will be calling them for all of them! Thank you Hanniel and team!!! You guys are awesome

This company has done a waterfall, a fire pit and two pergolas in my backyard. They also laid…read morepavers stones for a patio and built two fences. They have done a phenomenal job, and I would recommend them to anyone who asks.

I hired Edmond Deck and Patio to do a major removal and reconstruction on my patio. After a couple…read moreof weeks, they stopped working in my yard. On several occasions, I had to call and inquire about when they would be working on my yard. They would then return for a day or two, only for me to call again in a couple of weeks. At first, the wrong stones were delivered (4 pallets sat in my driveway for a month before being picked up). Then they had trouble getting stone delivered from out of state. Then they were unable to get the requested quantity of stone that had already been ordered and approved. This left my patio partially completed and I was required to choose a different stone to supplement the amount that could not be obtained. I understand that issues arise and was very patient on the materials situation. On several occasions they left the gate/fence down to my backyard with a swimming pool, leaving it exposed to children which was dangerous and concerning. 5 months after starting the job I called the owner to determine when they would be completing my yard. He told me that the job was completed. There was trash, materials, pallets, remnants of broken stone, holes, trenches, and gravel throughout my front and back yard. A couple of weeks later he finally had his son do a clean up but it was not satisfactory, as he only picked up the trash and materials. I called to discuss the unfinished jobs and he stated that he would come by to discuss. He never showed and stopped returning my calls. My yard still had holes, trenches, gravel, and remnants of broken stone throughout. The gas line was never connected to my house, fire pit, or pool heater. They simply laid a line underground and never connected anything. The flagstone on my fire pit crumbled when someone sat on it (several weeks after the install). The drain installed underground stopped in the middle of my yard instead of going to the edge. The pool slide wobbled when kids go up, due to not being re-installed properly. Several stones were loose and the sand was washing out from under them due to no border being added to the edge of the patio in a couple of places. The electric work was not finished, and what was done didn't work properly. Needless to say, I had to hire 4 contractors (plumber, electrician, masonry, level, and sod) to repair and/or finish the job 8 months after being started.
