It took them a few days to message me and my friend until today when they said that the class we selected was full, but they had hip hop available If we wanted that. To which I said yes that would be great. I was starting to think I got passed, then the messages stopped.. I waited and again got no response. so when I called my friend and I told her what happened she said I'm still messaging them. They're helping me with my daughter getting her on the schedule and she said I will tell them that you're interested.. so a few minutes later she asked me if they ever reached out to me that She gave them my information and I said no. So I called them three times and it went to a voicemail. So rightfully frustrated. I told my friend forget it, I don't want anything from them. I should not have to beg a company to let my child try something. This all was very unprofessional. I know several families who have their children at this location and today was a great disappointment when I've heard and read nothing but great things about this company. My child has grandparents who are willing to pay for her to go here if she liked it, but after this I told them no I'd find another place. I have screenshots of the conversation should they ever try to say otherwise.

This studio does not care about the welfare of the children that attend it. I stepped out onto the porch to take a call for a minute and during that time, a stranger led my daughter into the bathroom and went in with her. It was another mom that did this, and I was just so shocked and disturbed that the teacher would just release the kids into a room of strangers. I'd actually witnessed this happen before with a kid whose mom dropped her off and left shortly after, but didn't expect it to happen while I was there.

They are both such amazing teachers, so patient and kind and made us feel like we could do it, even though we were in our fifties with no experience at all. Now almost 10 years later we are still taking lessons and love to dance. Matt is so patient and good at explaining things as well as figuring out where the problem is when a dance move doesn't work. It is so satisfying to work through new moves and new dances and master them. Matt and Marina are not only good teachers and choreographers, they are excellent dancers. It is such a pleasure just to watch them dance. They have the patient for beginners and the knowledge and expertise for intermediate and advanced dancers. I highly recommend them!

Time for an updated review as we are about to finish our first season and had our first recital on…read moreSaturday. First, the recital was on 1.5 hours long. WIN Second. The recital was super casual, and easy going, which is good because when you've got little kids dancing, and young families with little kids, and everyone is is just LITTLE, that makes for quite a bit of ups and downs and talking, and ins and outs, and you know what... IT WAS OKAY! No one was bothered in the least, and that made everyone chill. So.. second win! And the third win, Miss Devin (the owner) was IN LABOR and still came to the recital. I wonder if she's had that sweet baby yet? Now there's a director who really loves her craft and her students! Three cheers for Dance Axiom!

She looks forward to it whenever it's that day of the week she has classes. The owner and staff are VERY nice and welcoming. There are always classes going on when we are there - tap, ballet etc... And the level of classes and students are varied and you can attend classes that fit your level and needs. They also do a recital for your kids if you are interested for an addition... I think $60. The negative... I don't think the beginning hip hop class is for "serious" dancers. They are there learning basic moves and I think they are more focused on making it fun as opposed to technique. This is actually what we wanted, but if you were wanting it needing your classes to be more technique oriented, this is not the class for you. Maybe the higher levels focus a bit more on that but I wouldn't know. All in all, my daughter likes it very much and we keep going back. The people are great, the place is clean and professional and the "Dance Moms" I've met were all surprisingly wonderful women.
