They offered to special order the part. I specifically asked if there would be a higher charge for this and they said no but wanted a credit card number to cover the order. I also asked if it made sense to check alternate places but they deferred a comment on other places. I had used them before and found them reasonable and told them to go ahead. They quoted $86. When it came in, I picked it up. When I got home, the price still seemed high. I searched online and found the part readily available for $50. At both Loewe's and Bestbuy. That is a 72% markup. I went back to query this. I would not expect them to match the big-box stores but that much of a mark-up is ridiculous. I expected perhaps a discount but they merely said "that is our price". There was no consideration whatsoever for a customer and my concern. No attempt at resolution. Before one buys from this store, they should check on the pricing and perhaps direct their business to a more customer-friendly business. I would prefer to but 'local' but not at any price.
