I was in the store on Sunday looking for a range. I left a message with the salesman on Monday. No response. I called again to ask about someone coming to measure the space. I had been told that this was a free service. However the new person said it was $100. When he said he couldn't authorize this as a free service I would have to speak with a manager. Again a voice mail that has not been returned. Oh, well. There are lots of other places to buy what I want. I would not recommend this store. They obviously don't need the business. If I could give a zero star I would! I wouldn't suggest anyone purchase this warranty! Waist of money and time. I have a dishwasher that's 10 months old. Of course something in the main board has gone out and of course the guy who finally came to fix it didn't have the part. It's 2 weeks later and still nothing! We are more than impressed with the service at LMA. We met Mark when we went in and have worked with him ever since. We 1st ordered GE front load washer and dryer. They work like a charm. Delivery and installation was smooth and seamless. Next, we ordered a narrow GE fridge and freezer for our lower level and again no issues. Works beautifully and brag about it when people comment on it. We then ordered 3 new kitchen appliances (kitchen reno 2024) also from GE. We will get them delivered this week. We imagine it will go well. This time we got the 5 year extended warranty on these 3 appliances. read more

I have been a customer of LMA for over 20 years. I've purchased over $20,000. An appliance needs a minor repair and they try and gouge me. They also took 5 days to get me an answer. When I complained the service manager Paul he had an attitude the entire time, I told him you are going to lose me as a client and he said go ahead. You advertise constantly on your customer service and repairs and you've failed in both. I will not be shopping at LMA anymore. read more

Worst service experience!! Got appliances worth of $15000 for myself and my cousin which was a great deal. But the problem was they didn't deliver gas range on time even after pre ordering 7 weeks ahead of House closing. And when i got my range a week late after my house closing they called me to arrange a delivery after a week instead of delivering very next day. So I ended up booking an uhaul and picked up range by myself. They never felt any regret on this kind of service. Atleast you should have a courtesy to deliver the product by making some quick arrangements after receiving products late. When i talk to the person their they answered to deliver after a week which is not at all appreciated. I am totally dissatisfied with their services. My only recommendation is to improve the service standards. read more

Today we had delivery of a fridge and freezer. Upon arrival we were told that the microwave installation would be delayed- no apologies/nothing. Then with wet filthy boots they wanted to assess the fridge site. I had to ask the gentleman to either take off his boots or cover them. Then after an inordinate amount of time sitting in their truck a second gentleman came gruffly asking if he could move things out of the way. I said if necessary yes. He retorted, " Do ya want it to get dinged?" They consistently stepped off the runners onto my Asian carpet and kitchen floor.What should have been a 40 minute job morphed into well over an hour. In their wake they left dirty floors, dirt on my carpet, furniture they did not put back and a disarray on my porch with my chair, and items.The icing on the cake was my Bosch fridge has a dent in it which one of them initially denied. Coincidentally, he also took off his mask while still in my home and left his used mask on my kitchen counter. If I could pursue litigious action I would. read more

London Major Appliances sold us our brand new appliances to outfit the new house. After 4 wash loads the brand new washer died. We used the manual to troubleshoot and were unable to fix the problem. We contacted LMA and they said they no longer deal with the service complaints and would contact Maytag. We insisted that we wanted someone to service and diagnose the machine and if there was a problem to bring his a new one. They eventually did send out their technician who advised that two parts needed to be replaced. We are now sitting 4 weeks out with a washing machine that doesn't work. LMA has not communicated anything to us as to when we could expect service. I would not buy from them again. Their response to me was to go to the Laundromat to do my laundry. We live in the country, no laundromats around. Buyer beware read more

Great service and prices. However, the delivery service is poor. They caused damage to my front door. At first they even denied it! Once we brought it to the attention of the sales team we got transferred to their customer service department who took several days to get back to me. Then, they did not take it seriously and also tried to deny the blame. Once they said they "will take care of it", we had not heard from them for 2 months. I had to once again ask them what was going on. They had "forgotten" to follow up and "their guy" was supposed to handle it. Very unprofessional and when I called them on it they offered a water filter and stainless cleaner bottle as an apology.... We spent a substantial amount of money, and for a company that prides itself on great customer service, we found their treatment of our situation unsatisfactory and truly disappointing. Luckily our developer for our home told us they would take care of it. read more

Terrible service! I've dealt with them for years and have received mediocre service, but my last few experiences have been horrible on every level! I've bought washers and dryers from them and the last appliances I bought needed service after a short period of time. They misdiagnosed the problem on one dryer 5 times. I'm not exaggerating. It took 3 months for them to get the part in the store, I got a call that the part was in, went by to get it, they couldn't find it. I still don't have the part and had to just buy another dryer, from someone else obviously. I wouldn't deal with them again if it was for free! read more

Visited them from out of town to get a part for dish washer on Saturday was told no one in parts on weekends but someone there until 430 during the week.Went back Thursday and told no one in parts and it was 4 pm told me I should have called first.Will never buy from here Phelans in Sebringville much better read more

We recently purchased all of the appliances we needed for our new home. LMA was our first and last stop. Our salesperson was helpful and very attentive. Purchasing was easy and the experience, prices and service were excellent. They even worked with our builder to arrange delivery and ensure everything was looked after. The appliances were delivered today and the dryer didn't fit. LMA called me, explained the situation and returned them. We dropped by, picked out new ones and were on our way in no time with zero hassle! Thanks so much to LMA for looking after us and treating us so well. I'm so happy with how easy they made everything. Our family has shopped at London Major Appliances many times. We always leave very happy with our purchase, the staff are always very helpful. The deliver guys have been nothing but professional! Just recently we purchased a cooktop and walloven, they were both delivered and the old ones taken away. I can not get over how professional London Major Appliances staff is, inside and out. Salesman was pushy and arrogant. Not only that, I later found out he gave me all kinds of wrong information. It turns out a lot of what he told me was not true....including but not limited to their "service department" when I had an issue with my oven, they came out 3 times and replaced 3 different parts. NONE of which were the part that was broken. 6 weeks this took. In the end, I called a different service department and it was fixed in 4 minutes! Never again London Major Problems Appliances! These guys are not even close to the professionals they claim to be. STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!!!! read more

We bought a high efficiency washer and dryer. We went to London Major as we have always had good service in the past. We explained very clearly to the sales person that we hang virtually all of the clothing to dry and do not put it in the dryer. He recommended a Maytag Bravo washer and dryer and felt we would be happy with it. The washer continually leaves so much lint on the darker clothes and it is virtually impossible to get off. After having a service person out to look at the machine, who stated that there was nothing wrong with the machine, I came in and talked to the service manager who also stated that there was nothing he could do as he felt that all high efficiency washers were the same. He did state that if we put the clothes in the dryer that the lint would be removed. However, we were very clear at the onset that we were not wanting to put the clothes in the dryer. Basically, I feel that the sales person should have known this and advised us prior to purchase as we definitely would not have purchased this. read more
