This place has a nice setup. They do accept credit cards but not AMEX. The workers here didn't speak much English so you'll have try your best to speak in Spanish to them. We ordered passion fruit ice cream and dolce de leche con nuez (with nuts). The passion fruit ice cream was interesting. It was more syrup based as opposed to the entire ice cream being made out of passion fruit. It had vanilla and passion fruit "jam/syrup" mixed into the ice cream. There are some seeds, they are very tiny and you can eat through them but be careful. Next time, I would order something else. The dolce de leche con nuez was much better. They used quite a bit of nuts in the ice cream and it wasn't overly sweet. This is a great place if you don't want to order desserts and the restaurant you were eating at. It's not a very far walk and the street has so many restaurants that it is relatively well lit so it is relatively safe. However, as we were walking here, we did see some families just on the streets with their kids panhandling.

The service was extremely friendly and fast and we sat out on the deck, enjoying the evening weather and the guy serenading us with the harp in the corner. We stayed for hours talking and eating. At the end we shared three desserts, flan, cheese and sweet potato, and apple pie. They were as delicious as the entrées. The prices were modest and matched the food. Like everywhere else we ate in Argentina, La Rueda 1975 doesn't skimp on portions; they are extremely generous. They even started us off with a full basket of complimentary bread and butter, which was exactly what we needed after spending hours exploring the Iguazu National Park. The menu has tons of options, pasta, steaks, seafood, and more. I chose the beef ribs, which were big enough to share between two people. They were a little on the salty side, but still really tasty overall. The service was fantastic too, which made the whole experience even better.
