They over charge by udot max fee that they can for impounds they are very unprofessional. Refuse to explain the charges refuse to answer their phone around 5 pm so they can charge you even more. They lie about the milage. Here is there udot id to report them 3191121. They already in court for this same issue record the calls you have with them and call before you go over so the ass hole is there they do not have an office on-site they take up to 30 mins to get there. Very unprofessional and hard to work with. It took way to many phone calls to locate what lot my car was taken too in the first place and they would not work with the insurance for getting my car out of the lot. Giving even one star is too generous for this company. Owner lives in saint george, and has the intelligent level of a rock. It took over five phone calls , trying to locate the spanish fork lot that a truck was towed to. Give a number to call for that location, that does not work. Call the owner once more, and told him the door was locked.There's nobody answering the phone. His reply was , oh , no one's there.You didn't ask for me to send somebody there. And then\nThe wait time is over an hour to get somebody to show up to pick up your vehicle. I'd recommend you avoid this at all expense and possibilities. read more

Nothing but insurance gougers. My daughter had an accident and Springville PD called this towing company(even though we told them we were on the phone w/ USAA & they were going to send one) They came like someone said free buffet and picked up the car. We tried to clear out the car that night but they refused citing it was late. The next day we tried , and they said we could the next day. So we finally were able to clear our belongings and told USAA they could come get the car now. Now they're not answering their phones holding the car ransom to get more money from the insurance company in storage fee's. How the police are affiliated with them i have no idea. If I could leave a negative star I would.. more like -5. firstly, we called and made an appointment for someone to be there to help and no one was there to talk to let alone let us in. When called asking for help I was treated absolutely horribly!!! I was called a lier without listening and trying to understand the situation AT ALL!!! I was hung up on 4 times!!! we called Springville PD and UHP and told us we need to file a complaint with UDOT. if you can choose a towing company DO NOT USE FREDDYS TOWING IN SPRINGVILLE UTAH!!!! My boyfriend has his medication in the truck we need and now nothing.... complete silence. These people have two different addresses and three different numbers and the same person answered all three number.. he was the absolute worst person I've ever deal with.. even after giving him everything he was asking for as far as proof of ownership he still hasn't answered.. if I could give less then one star I would. this company is dishonest and will try to get every penny they can out of you or your insurance. if you in an accident and they show up turn them away. my car has been at the shop for over a month and now I'm getting notices that my car will be sold at auction because it hasn't been picked up or payed for. They hold your car hostage by not answering the phone and not allowing contact from the insurance company or other companies so they can milk the insurance for more storage money. Turns out this company has been investigated by the state of Utah regarding tow policy violations and is tied up in a lawsuit. By far the worst and most unprofessional service I have ever received. I had to get an emergency tow for my vehicle that broke down. I was told that it could only be taken to the impound yard and not my house. Even though I was willing to pay the amount necessary to tow to my house or even just move my car to the side of the road. I was charged storage fees and many other unnecessary things because of it. I also had to pay them to move it to my house, and they kept giving me the runaround about what time they would show up. I was told in 15 minutes that I'd be there countless times by them, and I ended up waiting 4 extra hours and wasted my entire day because they could not be honest or communicate properly. Once they finally showed up, they wanted to just drop it off in an unsafe location where it would be a road hazard and could potentially get hit by traffic. I had to fight them tooth and nail so that they would finally move it to a safe location. Freddy's towing is dishonest and extremely rude. Getting a Triple A membership will save you all the headache and drama of dealing with people like this. If I could give this rating 0 stars, I would. I also just called them and heard insults being said to me in spanish by them probably thinking i wouldn't understand them. Please avoid this company at all costs! read more
