Between multiple appointments there was back and forth conversion between he needed ear tubes and not. The doctor landed on the need for ear tubes, they said they'd reach out between 5-10 days. After 2 weeks of no contact I began trying to call. No answer. I left multiple voicemails and messages with no answer and no call back. Finally the surgery scheduler, Carol Holcombe, sent a message through patient portal only saying I needed to make a deposit to then schedule. So I paid the $334.82 to hold a slot for a date in May, only told us a day, no time or instructions. After 30 days of us trying again to contact them with no answer my husband had to physically go into the office to get information. It had been so long that they required us to have a second pre-op appointment. At that appointment the doctor said he didn't think my son needed tubes after all. Before I left that appointment on May 11th Rebecca Lookadoo, the Gastonia office manager, told me they would refund my surgery deposit. I called June 11th to billing to see what was the hold up on my refund. They told me that they couldn't refund back to my card because they had incorrectly put the charges under my account instead of my son's. Therefore, I must wait 30 more days to be sent a check in the mail. Then had the audacity to ask me if I wanted to pay the balance for his other appointments (we had not been mailed a bill for those yet). The lady I spoke to today promptly told me that my refund had been applied to my balance without my knowledge or consent and the remaining $83.16 actually could be put back on my card. It has been an absolute nightmare, not only the back and forth treatment plan, but the lack of communication and LIES. Total waste of time and money for my family! Needless to say my son has been seen elsewhere and he in fact does need tubes and adenoids removed. Our new surgeon found it odd adenoids was never discussed and strange how they dismissed the multiple ear infections. Horrible business

From making an appointment, to checking in, to getting treated either on the allergy side or on Dr. Levy's side, I al treated like a trusted friend or a beloved member of the family. They ask the probing questions to get to the bottom of the situation that brings me in, refer back to my chart and actually have a conversation with them about my care. I cannot imagine moving and having to change ENTs. Seriously, these people are the best of the best!

The Belmont "Outpost" of Charlotte Eye, Ear, Nose & Throat associates is truly a hidden gem. The Office Manager is a true gentleman who deeply cares and takes pride in his work and will go the extra distance to accommodate patients. He's truly a great individual. Front end office staff is caring, compassionate and efficient. Audiologist and Nursing staff are incredibly caring, kind and take the time to listen to patients in a nonjudgmental way. Nonetheless, the "Rock Star" of this operation is Otolaryngologist - Christopher L. Tebbit, MD. Dr. Tebbit is truly exceptional and has a bedside manner of the highest level. Dr. Tebbit is energetic, positive and takes pride in his craft. I can't say enough positive things about this medical professional. I would trust him to care for my very own patients for my family. Dr. Tebbit is backed up by a team of ENT Nurses and Support Staff that share his mantra of providing high quality and compassionate ENT care. After all, G-d only gave you two ears. I was referred to Charlotte Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat by my optician on 05/26/2026 for a suspected…read moredetached retina. I was examined by Dr. Matthew Wilde in the South Park Office who confirmed retinal detachment. I had surgery with Dr. Justin Brown of that practice on 05/29/2026 at Novant Outpatient surgery in Charlotte where I had a gas tamponade. Dr. Brown provided follow up care on 05/29 in the South Park Office and 06/08, 06/29, and 08/10 in the Belmont office. At the 08/10 visit Dr. Brown confirmed a cataract as a complication of the retina repair surgery and referred me to be seen by Dr. Casey Mathys in the Belmont office which I scheduled an appointment for 09/11/2026. Upon arrival the front desk staff on 09/11 I was asked if I was making a payment on the outstanding balance from the May surgery to which I stated that I had mailed a payment on Tuesday 09/08/2026. At that point I paid my $80 copay for this visit and was seated in the waiting room. Dr. Mathys's staff proceeded to prep me for examination, numbing my eyes for pressure check, imagining tests, refractometry and visual acuity, and dilated my pupils. At this point I had been sent to the waiting room for the second time when a member of Dr. Mathys's treatment team escorted me into a treatment room and informed me that he refused to see me due to the outstanding surgical balance, there were no business office staff available to discuss the issue, and my appointment was cancelled. If the outstanding balance was an issue, why did his office send me multiple email and text reminders of this visit? I understand their position, but they had a month to inform me rather than waiting until I was already in the treatment process and had accepted my copay that my appointment was cancelled at which point I was left with blown pupils and no sunlight protection. I feel that once treatment had started Dr. Mathys had no right to unilaterally cancel the evaluation. Second, I had been hospitalized at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia with severe vertigo from 09/08/2026 to 09/09/2026 that no doubt was exacerbated by the difficulty in seeing due to the cataract caused by treatment by Dr. Brown, and it was with great difficulty that I even managed to get to today's appointment. I could have been spared pain and suffering if they had been open with me prior to my arrival. I now have no choice to break continuity of care if I wish this to be resolved promptly. The joke is on Casey Mathys. I have met my OoP and deductible for this year. Whoever does my cataract surgery is getting paid in full by Aetna.

I came here based on a referral from our pediatrician for my son…read more I read the reviews before going and prepared myself for the worst. When we arrived, the facility was clean, easy to find within the building, and everyone I spoke to was kind and helpful. We were called back to see Dr. Roberts in a timely manner and I was ready for what I shared to be belittled, based off the reviews. However, what Dr. Roberts said made sense to me, and recommended we not need the allergy patch test as we had requested. He was kind to my son and answered all my questions. I have no problem going back.

I took my daughter for a sun allergy (was referred) and first he was like "we'll see if we want to do this test or not" then he was "we don't do those tests here. She'll have to go to a different center for that" WHY THE HELL DIDN'T THEY TELL ME THAT OVER THE PHONE WHEN WE WERE REFERRED FOR THIS SPECIFIC ALLERGY?!" They wanted to do more prick tests that we didn't come here for. She'd gotten those tests twice already. We don't have infinite money to spend on stupid repeat tests. I know what she's allergic to but I wanted to see if she had a specific sun allergy. And guess what... Antihistamines don't work on certain sun allergies. And they haven't worked for my daughters rash at all in the 3 years she's been taking them! Then he prescribed more allergy medication that makes her tired but wants her to take 4 of them daily? No.
