I don't know how they do it but I will I knew about them years ago. They don't have a lot of products for purchase but after all they dispense prescriptions. It was definitely worth the drive. I went to CVS for 15 years and when they started treating me like a number and not being able to fill my prescriptions I decided to give this pharmacy a try. I have never looked back. I even drive 20 minutes out of my way to go to this pharmacy. Round-trip it's 40 minutes out of my way. CVS is walking distance from my house. I drive to this pharmacy because the service is fast and the pharmacist knows me by name and treats me like a valued customer. read more

The people at the counter literally don't care about their jobs. I watched one woman wait for the lady behind the counter to finish what she was doing for at least 5 minutes before she helped the customer. There is a lot of miscommunication and I don't really think the associates entirely know what they are doing. I used Frederick Community Pharmacy from the time it opened until about six months ago. Their customer service and attitude toward customers and their needs went from First Class to WORST CLASS to lack of class! Staff is rude, and lack concern for their patient's needs. My doctor recommended this pharmacy to me and I am really happy she did! Their service is great and my two prescriptions turned out to be $35 instead of $330 that my local Weis wanted to charge me. Needless to say I'm not going back to Weis again, I will make the drive here. They do offer free local delivery so hopefully I'm located in that circle. read more

Although their phone system is annoying if you want to speak to pharmacist, they are very helpful. The product wasn't in and they didn't know when it would be because of distributor but pharmacist gave me honest answer, helped me look at options, and then called me back when he got more information. Can't ask for more in a situation over which pharmacy had no control. read more

I needed an alternate medication since it wasn't covered through my insurance, the tech I spoke with contacted my drs office and I had a new covered script the next morning. When my doctor first starting sending prescriptions here, about two years ago, the pharmacy was great: orders were prompt and there were no problems. Now, however, nearly every order presents a problem. They say they need up to five business days to deliver the prescription, which means with weekends, you could be waiting a week to get your meds, and if the medicine isn't in stock--which no one will tell you--you could be waiting even longer. When you call to ask where your prescription is or to get any sort of assistance in maybe getting your meds in a reasonable time-frame, there's no help to be found. "Managers" never call you back and are never there (if they exist at all). The techs answering the phones don't look for solutions but instead provide a series of excuses as to why your desire to have your medications delivered in a timely fashion doesn't work with how they operate. I transferred out all of my prescriptions--too much hassle and too many days without medications, and remarkably little concern on the part of the pharmacy about any of it. Save yourself the trouble. I'll be advising my doctor's offices to do the same. read more

Terrible! Been more than a week since a refill request has been placed, still no medication. The automated system has you confirm a delivery date on the phone when the refill is requested. However, when you call customer service you are told the "automated system isn't accurate - you need to call to find out details." ??? Been several days without an important medication, with this podunk service unable to provide more than vague updates. Never using again. read more

My dermatologist had asked me to personally call this pharmacy to ensure they received my prescription. When I called, the staff was very rude. Not to mention the fact they hung up on me after giving them my credit card information. I'm hoping this was a one time thing situation but the experience doesn't make me want to deal with this company again. read more

My doctor also recommended and called in a prescription for me on a Monday; I phoned in after not being able to register online, gave my information, paid, and was told would receive my prescription in 1 to 2 days. I called back on Friday since I had not received my prescription; after being on hold for 5 minutes a man answered, I explain my issue, he asked for my D.O.B. he abruptly placed me back on hold for another 3 minutes, told me my order was " in route". I asked him what happened to "1 to days" and he just said it was in route. He never offered any reason, did not apologize, offer any empathy, he was just very rude and abrupt.
