This place is no better or worse than an average CVS. Somtimes they're very helpful sometimes they're just adequate and sometimes not very helpful . I'm guessing that the most people do not leave reviews after a good experience only a as one and that's a shame. This place is open late so it deserves some recognition just for that. They cannot e held responsible for misbehaving homeless people in the parking lot. If you're scared leave and go so where else. read more

Very poorly run store. Possible cases: 1) the entire store is affected by untreated depression, 2) the educational system has failed the employees, or 3) it's a jobs program for those unable to find work elsewhere. It was that bad. To the point I's feel sorry for the employees if they didn't make me run around for 40 minutes trying to find 2 items (honestly). Needed one item. Asked pharmacy. They told me to go to the front. The front sent me to the back. They finally looked and then a second person in the pharmacy at the back directed me correctly. Made purchase and returned to car. Fine. 2 min later realized I needed something else. Went back in the store, checked aisles because honestly I didn't want to interact with these people who clearly hated being there. Couldn't find it, so I asked the front. Same story--kid told me to check the back. At pharmacy in the back, they told me to check with the front because the front stocks the shelves. Are you kidding me??? Why does a business (esp a pharmacy) exist except to provide a service people are willing to pay for? Spare yourself unnecessary idiocy and go somewhere else. This pharmacy has absolutely the WORST customer service. I went in tonight and there were at least four people behind the counter. One was working the window for cars (there was a long line, which is why I went in), one guy was helping a woman who was putting in an order, but the last two were looking for ONE box of medication...in the same place! It takes two of you to do that? The woman wasn't even looking, just offering the man emotional support, I suppose. Meanwhile, I was the only customer waiting in line. I mean, seriously. When a customer comes up, one of you should drop what you're doing and attend to the customer. And the worst part is nobody looks up or tells you they'll be right with you. I do not understand the poor reviews. My husband and I have only had good service at the Jefferson Street CVS - and we use it often. Yes, alot of people working back there doing their job that doesn't involve working the counter. Always courteous and pleasant, always efficient and I don't believe I have ever waited longer than 15 minutes. Very pleased! read more

I just switched my medication refills to this pharmacy. The new prescriptions were sent to them on Monday 10/2. I received a text stating they needed to call my doctor for preauthorization. I asked when should I expect both medications. The reply I received from a very very rude lady was "We haven't had that medication for five weeks and we are waiting for your doctor to reply on the preauthorization. Since then my doctor's office called back at noon on Weds. and said they had not been contacted by that pharmacy and suggested having called to another pharmacy. Things immediately got rolling and I am being taken care of by another pharmacy. If for some reason you feel you need to use this pharmacy for convenience think again!!!! It is not worth it, make the trip somewhere else. BTW it is nasty in there. I just read all the reviews. WHY IS THIS PLACE STILL OPEN!!!!! read more

Very poor, shelves were not stocked, I stood at the pharmacy for 2 minutes the guy eating at his keyboard told me twice the four employees that were back there would be with me in a moment. i went there around 4:30 am to get some cough syrup since it is the only cvs that is open 24 hrs at my area. When i pulled in the parking lot, there was a man who approached my vehicle and started doing circles around my car. Useless pharmacy employees. Not helpful and are trained to say "well that's what the computer says". They need to hire employees who care and humanize the challenges. They do nothing to help . They are supposed to call the insurance company to help you but they push it on the customer. Go someplace else. read more

Customer service wise - not fantastic but not terrible by any means. My issue is how dirty the store is outside. The parking lot has so much trash that it's a major eye sore. Any time you get out of your car, you're stepping on or kicking litter. The 24 hour convenience is nice, especially with the local grocery stores cutting their hours back. However I don't really like going because the store kind of makes you feel dirty. read more

This is the only 24 hour CVS in the Frederick area that I know of. I do not care for this location because the store is not as clean as others and neither is the community around. Worst service ever. Prescriptions aren't always ready when I go to pick them up. I usually go a day later than I requested when I call them in, just to be on the safe side, and they often still are not ready. I received 4 phone calls/voice mails this week letting me know that my prescription was ready and I needed to come as soon as possible to come get it. I go to pick it up and it's not ready! Even when they are ready on time, the line is always long, no employees are around to assist, and the ones who are are constantly shouting out the names of patients and prescriptions. If you have an "embarrassing" prescription, steer clear of this place! Just switched my prescriptions over to another pharmacy because I've had so many problems here. I gave it 2 stars because the selection is good and it is nice to have a 24-hour pharmacy, but I would use it for emergencies only. read more

I typically only come to this one when the 2 stores closest to my house are closed. Every time, the staff has been rude, disorganized and the store seems grossly understaffed and untrained for the amount of people in the store. I'll give a second star because the selection of product is great compared to other stores. They just need serious help on the staffing. read more

The store is great, but the pharmacy.....not so much. It takes too long to fill a prescription. I'm accustomed to waiting an hour before a prescription has been filled. Now I call to ask, because it might take up to several hours. Yesterday, I was put on. Hold for 20 minutes, finally hung up, and was again put on hold for 15 minutes until I hung up. This morning, my doctor called in two more prescriptions this morning. One is ready, but there is no record of the other one. HMNNNNNN. The nurse at the drs. office said that she spoke personally an requested BOTH prescriptions so the mistake on on the CVS end. I am making my 4th call. I am on my minute 67 of holds. Am so annoyed. It would be reasonable if this were the first time to have happened. But this has been the case almost every time. I would hate to have to change locations, as this one is on my way home for work, but this is ridiculous. HIRE MORE PEOPLE! OR MAKE SURE THAT YOUR EMPLOYEES ARE COMPETENT. NOT MY PROBLEM EITHER WAY. I know what it's like to work customer service and do it all hours, so I do not understand why nearly everyone at this pharmacy has such a miserable attitude or is rude or outright does not care enough to do their job. I don't have an attitude when I ask questions about switching pharmacies (as in my insurance suggests CVS, so I'm changing to there, after having left because they were so miserable to begin with,) but I don't appreciate being told I can just go back to wherever I came from. They don't call when prescriptions are ready in my experience (they have the correct number,) and when I call nine days after dropping off a prescription they first said they could fill, then said they would need to call my doctor to get a new RX (hey, that's great, I thanked them so much for the initiative and help,) I receive no call and was told that my doctor's office just didn't respond. Nine days ago. So they never tried back but will again today. Thanks for nothing, CVS. Your lack of caring is only emphasized by your bored-in-the-face / you're-wasting-my-time attitude. I don't expect apologies for something someone else did but the tiniest smidge of empathy or treating rational people like they're gum under your shoe is just pathetic. One star just because the pharmacy gave me my pills. That's the only good thing I got from coming there. I was on the phone for 2 hours with Middletown CVS and back and forth with this Jefferson CVS. I needed antibiotics for CDiff and was desperate to get them because I've been pooping BILE that feels like battery acid coming out... The medicine I needed cost $364 WITH insurance which I think is completely unnecessary. But my main issue is I called my CVS and they told me that they would talk to jefferson to see if they had these pills, they called me back and told me that they DID have them and they were filling my prescription. I called JEFFERSON CVS and asked if they had it and they said "No we don't sorry". So i Call Middletown and ask what the heck they are talking about because jefferson told me twice that they didn't have it... They assured me that jefferson DID have it.... So I call jefferson for the THIRD TIME and some nasty person picks up and said " I told Dan (mtown CVS) that we do NOT have it!"... CVS Middletown said to call BOBBY (NASTIEST PERSON) because she said she had it... Get a hold of BOBBY "I'm confused... Do you have my vancocin or not?" BOBBY:" YES I'm filling it right now." Me:"why did you tell me 3 times you did NOT have it then?" BOBBY:"I DIDNT LOOK IN THE RIGHT SECTION. ".I didn't know what to say so I just said okay and hung up....(aren't the PHARMACIST S supposed to KNOW these things!?). My blood is boiling at this point and I wanted to see how they acted in person. When I went to pick up my medicine BOBBY was answering phone calls, slamming the phone down, rolling her eyes and would say stuff like " Oh my god, what's wrong with these people??"... Sorry BOBBY but I think you need to get another job or pull out the corn cob that's lodged up your butt. Some lady came in behind me and even told me that she noticed they were being rude and she ended up being told (not in a nice way) that they didn't have her medicine either....wtf I feel better now that I wrote this. Waited in the drive through line to pick up my sons prescription and bc they filled it under the wrong profile, I was asked to get out of the line bc there were people behind me. I honestly don't see why that was my problem, they should have fixed their error without inconveniencing me. Customer service gets a negative star. read more
