Do you know how many times I drive by these barns on 270? Well now I'm happy to say I know what…read moreeach of them are! We first stopped at the Visitor Center and talked to the gentlemen who gave us the brochure and directed us upstairs to the museum. This was a great first stop to give us insight to the battle and the times. It was really cool to read about residents of Frederick from 150 years ago. At the back of the museum is a light up map that is a MUST in helping understand the layout of the several farms and battle. We did the 5 stop tour (minus the NJ memorial which is under construction). We took several pictures and did a few trails at the Worthington Farm. We finished at the Gambrils Mill and saw the bridge with a whole new perspective. Go check out this history filled battle field right under your nose in Frederick!

I've been a student of the American Civil War for over 60 years. Recently, while visiting friends,…read moreI learned about the Monocacy National Battlefield where "The Battle That Saved Washington" was fought in July 1864. The Visitor Center is very nice with a electronic interpretive displays, as well as battlefield artifacts. There is a self-guided 4 mile (6 km) automobile tour of the battlefield and three walking loop trails. It was raining the day we visited, which curtailed exploring the Battlefield and its historical buildings. But I thoroughly enjoyed the the view of the Battlefield -- a rolling grassy field with dense forest around it -- and imagined what the battle may have looked like that day.

I'll try to be brief (never can be), but it's difficult because I have so many positive things to…read moresay. I was only a witness for a friend's very warranted malpractice suit, but I can testify to how effective and personable and attentive Attorney McCubbin and all staff were to me and the plaintiff. It is not just about the positive resolution to the case; it is also about the personal interaction with all Schreyer legal staff; beyond a positive resolution, it is sometimes as simple as people's tones of voice, their attention, and their expressions. It might be assumed that someone who is going to earn money from you - in any industry - will be polite, informative, attentive, patient, and expert, because they have the monetary motivation to be, if they are not naturally that way. But, sadly, we customers all know so many employees or businesses owners are inexplicably condescending, impatient, incompetent, or discourteous - if even only subtly. And it is disheartening and frustrating. But from the first exploratory phone call with paralegal/administrative staff at Schreyer, to the first phone call with Attorney McCubbin, and through every point of contact - whether email, phone call, or in-person - from depositions to the case's settlement, Attorney McCubbin and all others were exactly as I would think any person would want: GENUINELY friendly, responsive, empathetic, and knowledgeable. They made a very difficult time and somewhat daunting process tolerable, understandable, predictable - and winnable. I highly recommend Alpert Schreyer, LLC!

Through Covid we showed up for a DUI case several times due to being it pushed back. Michael Berman never once complained or asked for more money which means a ton to me. We agreed to a price and it was honored. on top of that he actually came with a game plan and followed through for the victory. I didn't blow due to Covid being fairly new and I had reservations. The case was thrown out due to inconsistencies on the prosecutions behalf. The back office was also great with timely trial date reminders and documents needed. I feel it was the best experience I could have hoped for.
