I would give a 0 star review if it would allow. Horrible company. Their scheduling is a joke and they schedule things and do not honor it. They say that they "Work with your insurance company", but that is far from the truth. Instead of meeting with your adjuster and showing them the components, they just go based off of the adjusters inspection. So, therefor, all of your roofing components will not be replaced as it needs to be. They absolutely refuse to replace Step flashing, counter flashing, and apron flashing. The exact words from the General Manager, Paul Lessee, "The insurance isnt paying for it, so we arent either!" So, with that being said, instead of doing your roof the right way, they cut corners. Flashing is a HUGE part of your roof! Flashing is a safeguard against leaks around walls, chimneys, dormers! Once your roof is done, if you have any issues with it, good luck getting them to come back out to address these issues in a timely manner. Once they get their money from you and your insurance company, they fly away in the wind. PLEASE BEWARE! There are plenty of other REPUTABLE roofing companies that you can call!!! Please stay away from Jeff Home Improvements!!!!! Picture added is for proof of them wanting to "Reseal Step flashing". People, you cannot reseal step flashing. Got 3 estimates for new seamless gutters and gutter guards. Michael Branham came to my house. Spent 5 minutes. Did not measure, no product brochures, nothing. Michael stated "$7,500 bottom dollar". I almost busted out laughing. My other two estimates were $2,675 and $2,725. It's evident Michael either had no interest in the job or thought I'm ignorant. read more

I am 75 years old, a Vet, 100% disabled, retired and on Social Security. I wanted my 27 year old roof replaced by Jeff Home Services , with an addendum attached to secure the new roof to the deck roof which had been leaking onto my boarded deck. April 4, signed contract. April 10, new ROOF installed, looks great and clean-up great. Contract Not Complete due to addendum ! 56 Days later, MAY 30, J.H.I. worker comes out, " I know what the problem is sir and will call in next couple of days to repair. NEVER called !! Today, as of JUNE 9, NO CONTACT WHAT SO EVER !! At my age this makes me feel SO STUPID and GULLIBLE ! I trusted them and am Still paying for it. I gave them the last check and I should have held it . If I could, I'd give them a 0 star. I'm going to go the LEGAL route now and they will have to pay for NOT completing the CONTRACT. It's a shame and the ROOFING industry once AGAIN gets a bad reputation for screwing a good , honest customer. Charge much more than they should for the quality of work they do. Chris, the production manager, tried his best to make things right but his company's level of quality acceptance is just way too low. And Michael Branham, typical salesman, makes his commission and moves on. He'll talk and text you like you're best friends but couldn't care less about your project and satisfaction as long as he gets paid. I had them do 21 windows, siding, and gutters on my house. I'm not picky or hard to get along with. Until the end. That's when I noticed an endless amount of poor quality work, especially around the windows. If you're picky at all, have them give you addresses of several previous jobs. If you're satisfied with that quality, then good luck. I didn't do that and wish I had. And be prepared for your project to take much longer than quoted and your property to be a trash dump the entire time they're working. And be prepared to pick up hundreds of nails and screws the whole time because they don't bother running their magnet until the last day and don't even cover the entire area they worked. I highly recommend using a more reputable company that cares. These guys are not it. They only gave any attention to a 2 month long project at the end when it was time for payment. Lesson learned the hard way with these guys. read more

Jeff Home Improvements is a great company to hire. They stick to your scheduled meeting time and they don't push you to buy or try and upsell you. I purchased all new gutters and downspouts for two of my homes and they installed them ahead of schedule. Will absolutely do business with them again in the future. read more

I Had Jeff Home Improvements come out to quote a wide array of storm damage, from roof damage to gutter and siding damage to a collapsed barn. Jeff Roof was the only company willing to come out and look at everything that was damaged by the wind storms earlier this year. They were very friendly and professional and listened to all of my concerns. When they gave me the quote they were honest about why they priced things the way that they did. Overpriced, and underwhelming work. They also damaged my siding and fixed it with non matching siding. Slight color variation and texture. Had to wrap my garage doors twice. Used aluminum when the had plastic weather resistant previously. My house smelled like smoke from the crew smoking constantly with my garage door open. Had these guys replace a storm damaged roof and siding, they decided to do it it 20 degree weather so it literally blew off a few days later. They came out and redid the roof and it leaked into my master bathroom and utility room. After they sent out a different guy to fix the water damage they sent me a bill for a job that wasn't completed yet. Nearly double their estimate, which is a ridiculous mark up at any point but considering all the hassle and incompetence it's absolutely ludicrous. Had to call multiple times to get someone to finally come out and do my siding and downspouts. Now I have new holes in my siding, shingles that are still peeling off my roof and despite having called multiple times, leaving messages with people in their office, and being told someone would call me back I have yet to hear from anyone. read more

From start to finish the process of getting my roof replaced was great. Michael was punctual, friendly, and very fair with the pricing. He examined my roof and said that there was storm damage. He met with the appraiser and ensured they saw the same damage that he did. The contractors themselves were great. They were on time and took care to cover plants and landscaping when removing the roof. Install was very smooth and they ended up staying until after it was dark cleaning up debris. The gutters were replaced a separate day and that process was quick and made a huge difference in the final look of the house. I ended up using the financing option for the balance and that was a breeze of a process as well. Overall was a very great experience and couldn't recommend more. read more

I have been in construction for 18 years worked with many Rooffing companies, this one is the best that I've seen. They replace plywood that was decaying, installed the flashing and roof system correctly, (which a lot of times you have to educate roofers how to do) but not this crew they are good! i am surprised at the negative review of Jeff Home Improvements here on Yelp. I myself had a very positive experience with Jeff Home Improvements. Their Sales representative was very professional had helped us immensely. I have neighbors and friends that have have work done by them also and have never heard a negative comment yet! During the the big tornado and hail storms we had a few years ago there was no one else that could take on the work and get it done in a timely manner. On our house, from picking the new shingles, dealing with settlement claims, to arranging the work schedules they were very helpful and had a lot of knowledgeable advice. The crew they sent to do the job did a top quality job and worked very fast also. The final cleanup was exceptional. I would use this company again and would highly recommend this company. read more

That company left my house with me feeling uneasy and uncomfortable with their sales rep. My neighbor recommended I give Jeff Home Improvement a call and I'm so glad I did. Michael Branham came out, did an assessment and helped us every step of the way. With the other company, they were going to charge extra for numerous things that was included in the cost at Jeff Home Improvement. I feel comfortable with the platinum warranty and our roof looks beautiful. We also opted for the upgraded vent to help with cooling costs. Had a roof quoted by Michael Branham as having CertainTeed shingles that were recalled only to find out after the roof was replaced that they were NOT in fact Certainteed. I would strongly advise not using Jeff Home Improvements or Michael Branham and would give ZERO stars if it would let me. read more
